I understand schemes being new. I do not liek seeing guys get beat stright up. That is a talent issue...................................CHAMBERS!

Oh come on.

I want to see a bomb downfield to Chambers atleast once tonight. The Bears did it twice already

honestly guys, do you think anyone that doesn't live in miami or chicago (or is a big fan or either team) is even watching this game?

It isn't the damn O-line, it's the damn pickups. The RBs and FBs have been piss poor. McDougle deserves no blame today at all.

Carey does....

Im glad theyre blitzing...its exposing our line. We have to get these to F'N block. They suck right now. I notice no difference from last years line.

MAn there hasnt been a play tonite where the bears didnt blitz

Some of you guys are acting like it's the freakin Superbowl. It's the first game... IN PRESEASON. This is kinda expected, IMO.

yeah, it's slightly more than a scrimmage, but consider:

we're playing the Bears, the worst freakin team in the league

you would expect players to play harder for a first year coach, esp one as demanding as Saban, if they want to start -or not get cut

we have prob the most expensive coaching staff in the league

and we still look like we did last year! maybe this will give them an idea of what they need to work more on, which right now looks like just about everything

i'm outta here fellas, i will probably go to sleep on this game, i have seen enough of the starters, i want to see the guys fighting to make the team

That was all Chambers.

Last two plays looks more like Gus. One over throw and one held the ball too long.
:yep:

One completion that he basically threw up for grabs to a double covered receiver....he looks great.

Rofl. When Feeley folds under the pressure it's the O-line, but when Gus comes in and handles the pressure it's all Chambers.

I like Feeley and all... but that pass would have only been made with Gus. Gus trusted his receiver to go up for the ball, much like what he did with Moss & Co. AJ, for some reason, hasn't built that trust yet.

that was the gus of old stepping into the blitz. I still say AJ is the man for the job, the guy just needs to stop starring down his receivers every play. I think in the second half you will see the O adjust to the constant blitzes.
