Since this hasn't been put into poll format yet, I want the FH consensus. I whole heartedly say he will be. I also felt much better reading comments from Pats fans in favor of benching Brady. Every fanbase has their knee-jerkers. :)

If he is our QB for the next decade we are in for a lot of mediocre seasons on top of all of the ones we have gotten sick of.

I don't think so but I'd like to take a look at him with a different head coach and offensive coordinator.

RT is not the problem. he is being set up to fail like Henne to Henning.

You don't think we have evidence yet that Henne would've failed regardless of whatever happened here?

According to the board only running qbs have short careers

RT is not considered a running qb

so yes

No. Would have liked to say yes, just a little better then Chad Henne though. Who's next?

I voted yes only because I think it's far too early to say no. I think it's too early to say yes as well, but the notion of jumping ship at this point is stupid. Yes, he played quite poorly today, but there have been worse performances by better quarterbacks.

Tannehill was overdrafted by a over rated GM. He was Jeff Ireland's "Hail Mary" and that's it, bottom line.

Thanks you for posting what I was thinking before I did.

I suspect Tannehill might be good enough to drive Dolphin fans more insane than they already are. His physical tools and upside are better than anything we've had since Marino, and we are so wanting someone who can make all the throws we'll overlook the warts. He'll make some great plays, have some great games and then do things that will make us all just go "Wha?"

I've posted this in another thread. I think RT, Sherman and Philbin are all tied too closely together. If one of them goes for whatever reason, all three of them probably will. And we'll be starting from scratch again.
