Hey, just thought we would get a thread going the day before the game.

What do you want to see out of this game?

Predictions?

Who do you think needs to step up?


  • I would like to see our offense continue to move the ball, with consistency at the quarterback position. If our defense can stop the New Orleans starting offense then we might have a pretty good bunch.
  • Devone Bess, show us why you have moved up the depth chart, make some plays out there.
  • Chad Henne, show us why you were the second round pick this year, and show us something that will make us believe you are the quarterback of the future. Last game wasn't too hot.
  • Ronnie brown, show us that your knee is healed, and if it isn't...Run ricky run!
  • If the defense shows up i think the fins win this one, 17-14 is my prediction

I think the starters will play about a quarter. If the offense moves well against the Saints D and get some points take them out quick. Play Henne into the late 3rd Quarter. Then give Beck his final try to do something special. This make or break for him. Give Josh a try as well.

Defensively the same stop the run and put pressure on Brees. Get some TO's. Then let the bubble players the rest of the game. EVALUATE! EVALUATE!

That's what I want see. Also I can't help it winning is starting to be contagious 3- in - a - row!!!

I'd like to see consistent QB play from Pennington/Henne
I'd like to see our 1st string defense continue to shut teams out
I'd like to see our receivers come through and start moving the chains
I'd like to see a solid defensive backfield
I'd like to see no injuries
I'd like to see a purple unicorn (oops, wrong thread, sorry)
 
NO INJURIES! That is #1 on my list. Other than that, just want to see the depth, which IMO is all we are going to see tonight.
 
Ronnie to get a good amount of carries... 3-outs by the defense and our line to get big pushes.
 
no clue what to expect from this game. is there a bigger waste of time than the last preseason game? ugh.

Im just curious to see what ronnie brings tonight. Im sure they will be evaluating all the bubble players, so its make or break for a lot of guys.
 
I don't know if the Saints are opening with their starters, but if so I'd like to see how the DBs handle the Saints passing attack.
 
As much as id love to see the starters for as long as possible, let them play the first, and maybe give Ronnie up till half time. Result matters to me, as three consecutive wins would be great for confidence heading into the season.

No injuries is KEY, and let Ronnie get a good workload tonight.

Will be exciting to watch simply because the "bubble" players will have to perform under pressure. We'll see if they can handle it, if not C-YAAAAAAAAAA
 
PENALTIES CUT DOWN......1st team O-line should get some time to gel more......Penny prolly wont play he may get a series and that a big mayb...I want Henne to show us he is our backup and I want our 2nd-5th receivers to step up and a good game out of our 3rd and 4th RB's
 
Let Beck play and hope he does well. This way we can shop him around the league for a draft pick.
