I'm making this thread b/c i'm curious to see how you guys respond. Last year I was on the Ronnie Brown bandwagon early and I was extremely happy when we were able to draft him. Next Year I believe the Dolphins will have a top 15 pick in the draft but i don't think we'll be able to get Matt Leinart since he'll probably be the #1 QB picked EARLY. Right now i'm leaning towards Omar Jacobs b/c of his athleticism and Rocket for an arm. He reminds me ALOT of Donovan mainly b/c of his arm strength. Keep in mind that i'm throwing in some excellent JUNIORS that might declare early....So vote for who you'd like to see the Fins draft in '06:

Matt Leinart, USC
Omar Jacobs, Bowling Green
Chad Henne, Michigan (Sophomore)
Chris Leak, Florida
Charlie Whitehurst, Clemson
Vince Young, Texas
Bruce Gradkowski, Toledo

Remember that this is hypothetical...it doesn't matter if he's a Senior, Junior, etc.

Henne is only a Softmore.....the rest of list looks like it's do-able. I like Jacobs but im worried about him mechanics and lousy footwork. And becaus e of this i chose Leinart(although something tells me he's not worth the #1 pick either) I'll wait to see who steps up this year in College Football and shines some. There is always 1-3 guys that are more revered by the end of the year..a la Carr...Palmer etcc. I love Chris Leak but i cant see Saban taking him if he declares because hes barely over 6ft. Well see.

\/\/\/\/ but from that list id rather trade for rivers

I really like Charlie Whitehurst! I think he is going to be a good pro QB!

Can't vote for Whitehurst because he's not in the poll....But it's too early to speculate at this time anyway....Let them play the games and then we'll see.

Leinart is head and shoulders on that list. I'd take Leinart over Rivers in a heartbeat.

I agree, but I think we are 7-9 to 9-7 this year, and don't get a chance at him. I like Whitehurst.

Omar Jacobs Range....

I would probaly take rivers. I am just not sure where Leinart's head is at come on stay in school over #1 draft choice in the NFL. It sounds to me like the boy is whipped on some girl.

How about he felt he owed the school and the coaches for all the effort that they'd put into getting him to that position and the fact that he actually enjoys school.

I thought it was great to see a guy like him stay. He stated the fact he likes the guys and the team, wants to win three and a row and so and so.

It was refreshing!
