That's the old Dolphins. The current Dolphins are more likely to limp in the playoffs, get blown out in the 1st game, choose higher in the draft as a result, and keep themselves saddled with a middling aging injury prone team.

I used to feel that way about draft picks, but good teams stay good by making great picks at pick 20 or whatever. Unless you are gunning for first overall or something, tanking is kind of goofy. Trouble really is the guy making the picks. And the coach who in his 3rd year still can't get a play call in on time. And the owner who charged me for parking.and then let everyone in the lot for free in front of me.

With Waddle out and Hill nursing an injury, I think the Miami run game might determine this one.

SF will likely play safeties closer than we've seen most teams, so it's going to be a challenge.

Hopefully, the Dolphins can get off to a good start, get a lead, and run the ball.

Ultimately, you want to give yourself more choices than less. I wouldn't say it's goofy, but agree, the big problem is Grier, and until that is resolved. Dolphins are screwed, and the best way for actual change is losses.
