are you serious!!

Honestly yeah, thats what we need. Something to shake everyone up..we need anawakening. In this world we live in it dosent happen enough but the same way a kid messes up continuously and the parents have to scare them straight saban needs to do. We have offensive talent and defensive talent and everyone is palying at a highschool level. is embarassing to walk around a dolphin fan knowing what everyone is going to bash me on. we have many pro bowl players not doing anything.

I guarantee he is doing something behind the scenes. Only bad coached let the world in on the innerworkings of the organization. He will do what he thinks is necessary, not anything that can bite us in the *** like kick mularky out. That would just send a terrible message to the coaches. I am sure he is working with MM to fix what he thinks are the problems.

He called out the team but no one in particular.

malarkey is just killin us i know that saban call that last play but malarkey stinks man

yeah but...he's been trying to "fix" things since week 1...and guess what...they have not been fixed or corrected.

The old saying 'don't air your dirty laundry' applies here. If there is a chewing out or reprimanding of Mularkey or some type of change to his input it will be done behind the scenes where the image of the organization remains intact. He must keep up appearances that the powers that be is working to correct things without throwing anyone under the bus. We are never really going to get the straight word on what is being said in the locker room either unless someone within the organization has some loose lips and tell some folks in the know that post here and of course that will come third or fourth circuit (and the entire correctness of what was said remain in doubt).

I agree with you.

And I also have to say that I really like Nick Saban, I hope he coaches here for 10-15 years I think he's that good, even with the 2 losses.

He got a bit animated today, he's obviously upset, and at the end of the press conference questions were asked about carries and ronnie brown, and he said he didn't like the lack of Balance.

Then they followed up the question trying to isolate where the "playcalling" problem was, and he didn't point the finger at Mularkey, cause like you just said, its not professional to air your laundry out with the press.

I feel better about our team after watching his press conference cause I do think he is that good, but I just think we've dug a whole so deep that it would take a miraculous run of epic proportions to turn this around.

And as Saban said, players need to do what they do in practice, which is obviously not happening on both sides of the ball, for us to be successful.

I will say this as I spoke to my best friend who's a Bills fan, when we want to move the ball ie, the 2:00 minute drill, I haven't seen a team move or chew up yardage that quickly in a long long time.

I guess as a Miami Fan I'm just not used to the "rebuilding" process since we were so spoiled for so long.

Stay patient guys, this Guy, Saban will deliver the goods, sometimes things have to get worse before they can get better.

Doesn't mean they will be fixed by doing something drastic either. Maybe what this team needs is to gel. Maybe they need a little more coaching up. Maybe it takes a few weeks to do these things. Maybe our o-line really just doesn't have the talent to be in this league and we are screwed for the rest of the year...

What I do know is that throwing a coach under the bus after a few weeks instead of working with them will only cause havok in the organization.

Remember how bad Linehan was at the beginning of last year? People here were calling for his head, imagine what would have happened had they gotten what they wanted.

DOLFAN8055: you really thought saban would bash on mularky?

that would be nick ssaying he made a mistake by hiring him.

and why should he? with all the cultish fans kissing his
arse and saying how "great he is for the team" and
laying NON of the blame on him, why should he?

and wayne wont change him either becaus the fans
worship this over rated schmuk!!

its wanny part 2. get ready for a long, sad ride!!
