To be fair though… Nussmeier is a coaches son so he was bred to play the position. But yes I agree… Jayden Daniel’s looks great and it’s amazing what a legit QB can do for a franchise.

The next step for Daniel’s will be what CJ Stroud is going through now. Once NFL DCs get tape on you and they adjust and start taking away what you do best… can you adjust to the adjustment and keep getting better?

That’s what separates the good from great and great from elite.

It's normal for a sophmore slump. Stroud is not lighting up but hes not playing bad. What I expect to happen is by mid season you'll see stroud back through this rut and look better and more like he was last year as he learns more and adjusts

Yeah that’s right whoever it is, Skyler Thompson is not a serious plan B. There were so many other options this off season we could’ve pursued and upgrades with Andy Dalton, Justin fields, Joe Flacco, Sam darnold, etc

It’s just mind boggling the lack of self evaluation at that position and the Oline. Is it arrogance? A lack of ruthlessness that is required to build a winning roster?
