This is where your votes will go. All votes will be public and all can be viewed. You have until next Sunday, May 21st, to vote. So about 1 1/2 weeks. I would make it two but ending it on a Sunday will make things easier. The process is simple, you vote for the teams that place first, second, and third. First place gets 3 points, second place gets 2 points, and third place gets 1 point. The points will be tallied up and will declare the winner. You MAY NOT vote for your own team. You will be voting on the best team/most improved, it's not fair for the judging to be set on either one, so it's up to you on who you think is the best team while making improvements to their team. I will give you all the formatt we will be using. I will update the page daily to show the point standings. Good luck.

(Your Team Here)'s Vote

1. Best Team
2. Second Best Team
3. Third Best Team.

The following teams will be eligible in the final voting:

To start off with, this was definetly a tough choice. I hope no hard feelings come from this, because it was very hard for me to pick the top three because let's face it, there are some good teams out there. You all don't have to include the little excerpt under the vote, I just felt it would explain my reasoning. But anywho, *drum roll*

1. New England Patriots
New England did a stellar job, in fact, I feel they are in the hunt for the Super Bowl. They brought back Brady and gave him so much speed to work with, and let's be honest, Brady can make an underrated star out of many WR's. Lewis is a huge addition and their defense lost a few cap casualities but they picked right up, adding Kampman, Vilma, and Greenway. They had a great draft in my eyes, thus giving NFL's #1 Dynasty of 2000 a reason to look forward to the 2006 season.

2. Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia also did a great job this year. They traded away their locker room cancer in exchange for the league's best return man and a future star in Derek Hagan. Philadelphia also traded for Andre Johnson, giving Donovan so many tools to work with. One of their top acquisitions include Takeo Spikes, who can turn a defense into a monster, two years ago Buffalo had a top notch D. Last year Buffalo lost Spikes and went from top to bottom, this shows what Spikes can do to a defense. Expect a lot.

3. New Orleans Saints
Number three was a tough choice, but I looked at all the teams and thought that the New Orleans Saints improved their team without a doubt. Although they traded away their number one receiver, in return they got the number one CB in the league in Champ Bailey, Horn was getting old anyways. Plus to replace him, a young and with a huge upside, Reggie Wayne was added to replace Horn. The Saints brought in some good linemen and improved their defense. Not to mention, they drafted Matt Leinhart, who I think is the next big thing, to replace Aaron Brooks. This should definetly give the city of New Orleans something to smile about.

Good job everyone. There was a few teams I was contemplating for the #3 spot, so I'd like to give an honorable mention to the Broncos, the Raiders, and the Panthers. I hope to see some more votes in soon!!

The way I see it..

Here's how I vote based on final rosters..
1. Saints- Quietly built a contender with the massive amount of cap room (Wayne, Witherspoon), a few solid trades (Bailey, Smith) and drafted well (Leinart, Calhoun, Jackson) to fill the major holes. A solid team with no glaring weaknesses.
2. Broncos- Made some important moves on the defensive side of the ball to have a top D unit for years to come. LB Corps are studly with the addition of Peterson and the 2 young CBs were wisely retained. On O, Denver acquired a stud RB in Davis who will be dangerous in their system. The addition of Horn wont hurt either, he's still got a few years left in him.
3. Colts- It never hurts when you start with a really strong team. Wayne was lost in FA but the Coles pickup is solid. Retaining Edge and a majority of the O Line was key. On D, Barnett was a huge pickup and will take them to the next level. CB is a weakness (Starks) but Lucas has shut down potential.

Honorable Mention:
A. Patriots- IMO, made alot of lateral moves. A beneficiary of a good team but I think the Vilma pickup will pay off.
B. Redskins- The Offense (Moss, Moss, Portis, Davis) will give other teams nightmares but the D is a little shaky. Could be like the Chiefs of last year. Will still be fun to watch though.
C. Bucs- Had a few nice pickups but Im still unsure of Simms at QB. The WR are over the hill but the D Additions (Dansby, Castillo, McIntosh) will keep them strong and in most games..

Tough, tough choices.

It's impossible, for me, to pick completely revamped teams, chemistry is so important. For the same reason, it can be hard to pick most improved teams. Best team? Some inherited them. In the end I had to pick the teams I'd be scared to play, because the sky is the limit for them in '06, they are just different enough to be unpredictable. Congratulations!

Broncos, Raiders, Eagles, Bears, and Vikings, all came close. If I could pick 4, you all would have made it.

#3 Patriots - Hate the Patriots, hated having to read Schisno's long roster post. As I poured through the roster, I kept telling myself that the team was already this good, Schis didn't bring in these starters. But then all you have to do is take a look at the depth he has built, and you'll give him your vote. He ranks 3rd because depth is not impossible to build in this league, Schisno has the best overall roster, just not the most improved.
#2 Seahawks - Minnphin did what I was desperately trying to, improve an already proven team, without blowing up the roster. He has locked up #2.
#1 Dolphins - Spyder improved these Dolphins even more than the Real Dolphins improved themselves. Boldin, Rolle, and Leftwich, can't complain there. the Spyder and the Saban Dolphins are the most improved this offseason. And the finished product is very impressive.

1st of all before i cast my balot let me say that this has been HARD...last year it was easy sitting back just keeping up with dates. and building my team. This year it was more difficult being in a possition to make decisions and i am happy that i didnt have to do it alone...T-2, Schis, AZ and GIK were all perfect for the job and up to the task...thanx guys...so without further adew

1-Philthy Phily -Thats your new nickname from here on out. Donnie Mcnabb worried about targets last year....Gates? Johnson? and the X-factor? your point total just went up about 20 points per game. Defensively you made upgrades at Key Positions you brought in Sapp and Suggs...you will be able to get to the QB and brilliantly cover up the little weakness in the D-backfield

2-The Question Remains how can you improve your team throughout the draft....ask the Oakland Raiders. who brought in THREE top defenders adn they have enough GREAT vets to teach them and still play for 3 or 4 more seasons themselves...Defensively you have built the best...for now and the future...Offensively you have brought vets that can still contribute...and yu got Brett two more targets in Priest holmes who can still run and Lewis a great young TE who can be special.

3-One of the absolutely most improved teams are......the Buffalo Bills. JT took alot of flack for that major trade but look at the team now...they have a Solid starter at QB...2 who have the potetial to be GREAT young recievers...a great TE,and a Sick D-line-good thing they fired Levy and got JTBRLZ in there

Honerable Mention-KC-they have one of the sickest squads in the league...but how in the world do you expect Vick to get the ball to TO... or anybody else for that matter...and you have playmakers on Defense that refuse to make plays...

Too many teams put together nice starting rosters and did nothing to shore up their depth. These teams weren't considered for my top choices. I was looking for starting lineup, depth and overall improvement when considering my choices. That beiong said my picks are as follows

1) Panthers
2) Broncos
3) Vikings

Seahawks, Lions, Saints all get honorable mention. Good job guys

I know I did not post my final team and I apologize as I had some serious family business and this was the last thing on my mind but i would like to still be able to vote on the best teams I am the Falcons owners

1) i believe the raiders were the most improved team. they brought in a veteran qb who can still throw, added Priest and provided him with an excelent backup in Addai and gave Favre weapons at te and wr on defese he was able to get arguabley the top 3 defenders in the draft and all will make an impact early but was also able to get veterans that can still produce and teach the young guns for a few years
2)The buffalo bills were able to solify the qb position with brunell and also give him great weapons in Matt jones and ernest wilford and bubba franks...improved his defense and brought a great pass rush and also good linebackers...he was able to upgrade the safety position and i really like what he did with his depth
3)the vikings were able to keep cpep and give him 2 great weapons at runningback with bringing in foster and drafting maroney...they gave him good wr with great speed and the o line looks solid didnt do much with the defense but has a lot of talent and should really do well with the young de and the big guys in the middle allowing pressure off of the db's

I'm voting based on who I think will win the most games and be in the hunt as a Superbowl. Therefore, I was looking for teams that kept some unity and cohesiveness, but fixed their major holes. Here's my top 3.

1. Steelers
2. Dolphins
3. Colts

1. Seahawks - You made a SB team better. Can't beat that
2. Broncos - You added alot of playmakers.
3. Redskins - Good depth and stars make this team a SB contender.

This is really hard
1) Patsies
2) Dolphins
3) Steelers
