**OFFICIAL** We're trading for Jalen Ramsey

I expect a new contract for Ramsey who has no guaranteed money after 2023. We should get a chunk of our cap space back.
…per Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, as part of the deal, Ramsey's 2023 and 2024 salaries are now fully guaranteed at $20 million per season, and he'll get an additional $25 million in guarantees.

Miami/Ramsay could still rework the contract, but for now the next two years are fully guaranteed.

Godfather Chris Grier!
$17 million plus year one, $14.5 year 2. Not a bargain for the 9th best CB. I’m sure X Howard is thrilled. Godfather Grier hits on Iggy, no need for this expense. Even if Iggy is Kohou good, he’s paid 9 million, not 17. Armstead, Hill, Chubb, Ogbah, and Ramsay are the consequences for Liam, Iggy, Kindley, Jackson, and Chas Harris. Ramsay was a necessary acquisition, due to the Byron Jones fiasco.

Dude. Your narrative it tiring. The dude was absolutely banged up all season, to say he wasn't just shows ineptitude.

Injured and banged up are completely different in the NFL. He 100% had a groin injury and then a double groin injury. Not even disputable, it's fact. He played thru it all and if you've ever played a down of football with a pulled groin, you understand it never truly gets better without rest and time off.

I'll wait every week until I hear whom you say is injured or not I guess. Maybe quantify it with a 1-5 of how injured? Might help I guess. Facts are facts, you opinion of his injury isn't.

It's not. Went through injury reports for multiple weeks. Apart from the fact it's required by the NFL to report injury he only showed up on there 50%

Ngging injuries sure. I guess if any player gets hurt anytime that would affect them all year like it did Howard. We give a pass to him for what exactly??? Tua doesn't get that, Armstead doesn't get that... No for some reason we say the big cap player gets a pass because..... We like him. K.

I'm any case this is a Ramsey thread. As I stated to the other poster whom we have argued before, if you are gonna say that nonsense expect me to correct it at every drop.

We already went through this. NFL CBA states if a player is injured, specifically if a focused player is injured ANY injuries must be reported no matter how slight. If the Dolphins didn't report him injured.... Not injured. Don't know what to tell ya. Many player on IR for the minutest of injuries yet Howard wasn't on there with a lingering injury affecting him the entire second half of the year. K

Also I find it hilarious you just quoted Brian Miller from Phinphanatic as a source. Just goes to an example of the argument you present.

The Rams gave up 2 firsts because it was a cheap contract but the contract now is expensive, that is why Dolphins gave up for less

The 5 year, $105M contract he signed with the Rams was cheap?

They traded him because they didn’t expect to be this bad immediately following a Super Bowl and didn’t have leverage.

If they were in a position to compete they would have kept him at $17M after paying him $23.3M (in cap space) last season.

BTW, Ramsay, in 7 seasons, Ramsay was flagged exactly 50 times. About average, though the first few years he was targeted less than the other CBS on the Jags. He complained enough to get himself traded.
