Hey guys, I check this site out daily(2 or 3 times), but rarely post. I really respect most of your opinions. So what I am asking s what would you like to see happen this offseason (realistically please)?

I personally would like for Miami to make a run at Drew Henson. I like him a lot more as a prospect than Phillip Rivers, though I wouldnt be disapointed either way.I would try and do this by trading a conditional second next year(that could become a first) Secondly I would like to see Miami try and sure up the O-line through F.A. Maybe go after I guy like Chris Villarial or Cosey Coleman or John Tait. I think this would be the best way to fix the O-line,you just never know what your getting through the draft and I believe this is Miami's weekest spot. Thirdly cut Mcknight,Ruddy,Marion,Perry,Thompson and any other overpaid underperformer. Also resign Ogun, I know its will be difficult but do it by restructering others on defense. Hes just to important to this defense. This defense is built aorund the corners and passrush, and without a passrush the corners job gets 10 times harder. Also by cutting Marion you'll need a replacement. I would resign Freeman. If hes not interested I would Check out Deon Grant from Carolina. He probably will be looking for some coin coming of a good season and a superbowl appearance. If neither is doable resign sign Marion for another year cheap with incentives and draft his eventual replacement
Draft
1st- best reciever availabe (Reggie Williams, Michael Clayton, Michael Jenkins)
3rd- Adrian Clark OL
4th-Dexter Ried safety N.C.
6th-Kelly Butler OL
7th-best available

Well thats all I got, I through it together real quickcause I really wanted to see your opinions. Thanks and hope to hear back from ya.

they arent gonna re-sign Ogun....they'll do fine on D with Dave Bowens and will be a much better balenced team by spending more of their attention on offense.

I wouldn't resign O-gun - thus getting a first and third.

1a - Philip Rivers (NC State) - QB
1b - Vernon Carey (Miami) - OG
3a - BJ Johnson (Texas) - WR
3b - Jerricho Cotchery (NC State) - WR
4 - Carlos Joseph (Miami) - OT
6 - Dexter Reid (North Carolina) - S
7a - Uyi Osunde (UConn) - DE
7b - Shaud Williams (Alabama) - RB

why would Miami get another RB or another safety they have pro bowlers at those positions?

I think that Shaud Williams will be a solid third down back. Minor won't stay in Miami for ever.

Why draft safety? Are you kidding? We might only bring one back from this year. We may lose Freeman and cut Marion. Leaving only Knight.

I dunno, I've been thinking about all these different scenarios and haven't really come to a firm conclusion, although this sticks in my mind:

QB-Sign Brunell, release Griese, either release or SERIOUSLY restructure Jay's contract, draft Rivers IF we get an extra first rounder for Ogun, otherwise take a QB later.

WR-Have to get playmaker in first round, Jenkins, Clayton, Williams etc. Take a LONG look at Tolver, he has potential.

OL-Sign Tait or maybe Jones ? Draft Clarke, maybe Carey, although I don't like using a first rounder on an OL not named Gallery.

On defense I think Freeman and even Moore can start, don't see a need to spend much money on the D this year.

Those are my opinons.
