I'm not against signing any player with 40+ career starts. However, in Miami's situation I would prefer a player age 27 or younger.
I haven't confirmed it yet, but I have a theory that success rate of former 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks who struggled with their first team but bounced back to have a decent career is higher than the career success rate of most day three draft picks. I'm all for Miami trying to us 2019 to look at some young reclamation projects.
One player I would keep an eye on is SF de Solomon Thomas. If he's made available I think he fills a need.
