og still does nat have any sacks!!!!!

I know it is to early to tell, but regardless of who we got for Ogun for my money I am glad the Dolphins are not responsible for the contract. IMO Ogun is a good player but not a great one. The money he wanted will be better spent elsewhere. I also feel Booker and Gordon's production (or lack of) has more to do with the leaky line that gives the QB about a nanosecond to throw and opens up holes for a RB that Gary Coleman could not fit through.

Who cares?
Our local Miami Media cares. They continue their lovefest for Ogunleye. Every chance they get they suggest that JT will struggle without the great one on the other side. Of course, JT only had 3 1/2 sacks through the first 10 games last year (w/ great Ogunleye)...but, the press won't let facts get in the way of their feelings.

Wait till Ogunleye get's his first sack or JT has a less than steller performance...they will tap out loving words for Ogunleye on there little keyboards as fast as possible.

Yea, you have to look at the monetary situation of it. So far has Ogun earned his HUGE bonus?

Just wanted peoples opinion, what do you think!!!!

Crow meat tastes good over hot coals.

Ogun had 3 tackles, 2 sacks and a fumble recovery.

Booker and Gordon...didn't do squat yet.

you like rubbing it in everyones faces?

Let's not worry about Ogun. He's on another team now.

This reminds me of those people who break up with their girlfriend or boyfriend, and then pretty much stalk them hoping they will fall into bad luck.

It works both ways IMO. It just seems that many people wished OGUN to be bad just because he isn't a Dolphin anymore. Hell, some even wanted him to get injured.
Well that isn't the case. The guy is damn good and he will continue to be very good.

I'm still a fan of his.

you still a fan of Ricky's ? :D

My Opinion on OGun

IMO the Dolphins made a terrible mistake in letting O-Gun go. I believe they sacrificed part of Miami's longterm future for a quick fix.

I was able to watch most of the Vikings and Bears game yesterday and OGun carried a Bears defense that was without Urlacher, Mike Brown, Jerry Azumah, and Charles Tillman.

Pass rushers are at a premium in the NFL, to trade one OGun's calibur for, what essientialy turned out to be, Lamar Gordon and Marty Booker was a HUGE mistake.

A mistake that the Dolphins will regret for years to come.

I know OGun received a ton of money up front, but I believe that the Bears and Lovie Smith payed a samll price for what they are going to get, the ancor of their defensive line for the next 6 to 8 years.
