3 tackles so far today but NO sacks what a surprise.
 
Ogun is good against the run but its the sacks what matter concerning big bucks and stats. Ogun isnt doing the business yet!! :roflmao:
 
If you were watching the game, you would see that he has been pretty effective so far...almost intercepted a ball...

Give him some time. Im not saying he is going to lead the league in sacks but its way too early to judge his worth without Jason. JT only had 1 tackle no sacks the first game.

Quick, call Guinness! I have been saying that he was overrated for a year now. Everyone that plays opposite JT is made to look better than they actually are. What gets me is that all of the critics and most of the fans praised Wale' as one of the best DE in the league. Well, one Pro-bowl season does not a superstar make. If Wale' wants to be paid as one of the TOP DE in the league, he must REPEAT last years performance. I'm just glad that Miami didn't blow their money on this blowhard.
 
I think everyone here gives way to much credit to JT, I think he's tops in the league but it's just as much the secondary and blitzing LB's as JT I think we are solid all around and O's can't block everybody. JT is IMO the best at his position but the fins have a solid D and thats why Ogun had so much success on the left side. I know JT gets doubled but that depends on the play being called. JT doesn't get doubled every play and he doesn't beat every single player every time. Ogun is not the player JT is but he is a solid player and he helped make our D one of the best in the league.
 
Well remember Trace Armstrong? Ogun was not the only one who had benefited from JT. I dont think the doulbe teams are the reason the LDE gets helped that much but more that JT gets the QB to run towards the LDE while he is trying to evade the sack.

If that was the case, then why didn't Jason Taylor make Kenny Mixon better?

Why is it that Jason Taylor has yet to have a double digit sack season without a guy on the other side that gets double digit sacks?
 
Ogun is gone now. lets move on. i cant believe Da Bears beat the Cheeseheads. i picked Da Bears to lose in my survivors league.
