We all read that OG was a top priority. Did this need get forgotten about?

KO- gone, Boone- gone, Foster- gone, Allen- gone, Brooks- gone, Sweezy- gone.

Were we preoccupied with our trade, changed our minds on needing an OG, or, just waiting to overpay someone who had a bad year or was injured?

I'm not normally negative but, this start to FA has me pissed off.

We'll draft a guard with our brand new 13th overall pick.

Read on twitter that Alex Boone had his flight booked to Miami when he got the better offer. Fins stuck to their guns.

Also supposedly Pacman had been in MIA for 2 days and even took a physical here. Ended up getting a better $$ offer to go back to Cincy.

Grier might just be forcing Tannenbaum to stick to his price, and that could be a good thing. The Dolphins are always the ones overpaying and this year is a much different story. For better or for worse.

For all of those who hate Tannenbaum for his "big splashes", you can't now hate him for being conservative. Can't have it both ways

No idea what they are trying to accomplish... alot of movement for nothing really.... bad declining CB gone, bad CB with same cap hit, in.... Fixed MLB hole with a big question mark... OL? Top 5 RB gone... We havent adressed anything yet and created a hole on offense... Still early but its not looking good...

I agree, neglecting to sign a good OG would be an absolute disaster. Gase even specifically mentioned guard as a place we needed to improve, so it would really be a head scratcher.

Draft a guard in the second round or get a swing tackle in the first round.

From the looks of things it seems like we want to go BPA throughout the draft

Zane Beadles - former Gase guard in Denver
Louis Vasquez - former Gase guard in Denver (cap casualty . . . Fits the offseason M O)
Evan Mathis - Former Denver guard that is BPA and fits the Gase scheme

I would gamble on at least one of those three being Dolphins soon

Perhaps this front office is looking toward drafting as the key to build a winning franchise. Imagine that.

this team will probably end up failing like usual and getting some awful guard in the 5th round and think we are ok for the year.

I am sure that G, CB, RB, and OLB are going to be the rest of this offseason, FA and draft.
I just don't see the Dolphins making it rain, overpaying to land someone. Those days might be over.
Mario Williams deal looking pretty friggen good after seeing what OV signed for. If that wasn't a desperation move, I don't know what is.

Maybe they like myself see no point in spending on oline to protect a John Beck, who btw also had a horrible oline that just did not give him enough time in the pocket. Hence we spent #1 overall on. Lt, lmao! To protect a John Beck!

...right. Since Adam Gase, a supposed QB Guru, is going to benefit from Tannehill getting hit like an Everlast bag just as he has been since 2012. No point in our new offensive minded coach making sure his offense excels.

I know there is a "FH post of the day", can we get a "FH moron post of the day"?
