Giving people the dial tone is the best way to run a show.

When some moron calls up and says.......why don't the Yankees trade Miguel Cario for Pedro Martinez, they should be hung up on. Or if some idiot has no clue as to what they are talking about......hang up on them. Or, if someone tries to argue a point and has no facts or incorrect facts, THEY need to be hung up on.

These are radio shows with millions and millions of listeners. There is no time for morons to be tying up the shows with stupid phone calls.

One of my bad habits being that I am not used to all the phone calls that I am getting with the Blitz Report is that I have callers drag on and on...I appreciate that they call, but it brings down the show if ramblings go on for a long time...I just feel rude not saying "bye" either when I have someone on the air...and rarely do u hear a host on 560 say "goodbye"......and by the time the person being hung up on gets the "Thanks for the call" line they are ticked off that they got the dialtone....
