I can't believe it.
We play a hell of a game against one of, if not the best defense in the NFL, lose a hard, and well played game and everyone starts pointing fingers like they know somehow, and knew all along appearently, why we lost and how we can't win the division now and we are doomed to mediocrity.
Sorry for the run-on sentence their, but it's got to be better put together than the thoughts of some of these doomsday forcasters who think that hanging with the champs on opening day in their house isn't enough. We should have gone to Pittsburgh and whipped the Super bowl champs with a new QB coming off injury seeing his first real action in over a year, a secondary that hasn't played a down together, at regular season game speed, and a new playcaller on offense and the defensive side of the ball...
Are you guys nuts? What the hell did you expect???
Daunte played well, Pitt outsmarted him on one Int and he tried to force something he shouldn't have out of desperation on the second.
Ronnie Brown doesn't suck. I've seen that same Pittsburgh D make many pro-bowl backs look like rookies.
We have a great team, we just got outplayed tonight. Deal with it, the refs didn't make any bad calls, for the most part, we didn't play badly, The Steelers didn't play great. It was what it was, quit looking for reasons and enjoy the fact that we hung with the champs, and the next win belongs to us. That will be in the playoffs, in our house.
GO PHINS, all the neysayers... Shut the hell up!!!:tantrum:
