Oh my Lord!!!!

No wonder Brandon Spikes never showed up.....Mount Cody must have swallowed him at the hotel...

Thats a big boy, thats for damn sure.

It didn't hurt Andre Smith too much last year . . . I mean he was projected to go as high as #1, and he ended up going 6, and I think that was more due to people feeling he wasn't that best LT prospect in the draft with questions in pass pro.

Cody is different tho, he is well known for having weight issues and work ethic issues . . . a poor senior bowl could really damage his stock. I'm talking about completely out of the first 2 rounds, tho I am sure some team will pull him early who feel they have the training staff and coaching staff to get him right. I think the best thing in the world is Miami coaching him this week . . . we can see first hand who the real Terrence Cody is.

Man I really hope he's ok. Playing at that level at that weight isn't healthy. His diet must be like the anti-clean bulk.

I'd stay far FAR away from this total slob.. I thought he would be a bust way before yesterday, well before these pics were taken.

I feel the same about Cody as I felt for Vernon Gholston before the 08 draft. As some of you know I hated Gholston as a prospect, I talked about it here months before the draft and wrote 50 posts about it.., I thought Gholston would suck as a pro for many reasons - and I was very pro Jake Long for the right reasons.

what hurt Andre Smith was him getting suspended for the bowl game, then dropping out of the combine after the measurements. Smith was able to save face though because of his pro day workout and private workout with the Bengals.

If this causes him to REALLY fall, I'd look at him in the 4th. With some of the other talented positions in the draft, he's too big a risk to take before that point.

not sure why this particular picture will cause him to fall too far. his weight problems are well documented. it's not like he became a big guy over night. he's been playing at or near 370 for most of his career. heck, he blocked two FGs against Tennessee looking like that and most everyone loved him at that time.

I was never in favor of drafting Cody because he is only a two-down NT. But I don't think he will drop too far. I still say he will go no later than the second round because a 3-4 NT is the hardest spot to fill in the NFL, and with more teams going to a 3-4 coupled with the lack of legitimate 3-4 NTs in the draft, his stock will not drop much. You have to remember, this kid once weighed 400lbs, so yes he is going to look the way he looks. I think what the scouts are going to look at is his bench press, and any drill that measures his leg stenghth will determine where he goes in the draft. His weight alone will make him hard to move out of the gap, but if he strong as moose too, then he will go in the late first or second round.

I think people put a late-1st or early-2nd potential grade on him and wanted to see him get his weight down about 10 lbs by this point. Instead, he looks to have gained a few. People, I think, will mark him down to where he is - rather than marking him up to where he might be. But, then, there's usually someone who will reach. If we didn't have other needs, I'd consider grabbing him in the 3rd and working on his conditioning. Before the 4th, he's a borderline luxury pick. Before the 3rd, he's definitely a luxury pick.

His work ethic and character issues aside, why do we need a 3 down NT? We have tons of depth on the defensive line. He'd be such an enormous asset against the run that I'd be willing to ignore his uselessness as a pass rusher. There are so many people in favor of drafting a gadget player like CJ Spiller in the first. Why are they against drafting a defensive player with the same limitations in terms of playing time? I don't want Cody at #12, but if he falls to the second, I'd love for us to draft him.
