Man! Its so crazy the way this regime turn the team's roster. God! One day the make good move another day, you're like "what??" A.J Edds?? Is he that bad and is Ryan Cook really an upgrade. This is the only reason this team hasn't improved in 4yrs.: roster churning. Its like ferris wheel out there. Didn't they trade a draft pick or so to grab this guy last year? I'll tel you what? these guys have no clue when it comes to talent evalution. All that got is the "acorn" mantra. Nothing else!!!

One day people will realize that this isn't Madden on XBOX 360 or Playtstation 3. Preseason clearly isn't a true evaluation of a team. Long hasn't played and he is our best Offensive Lineman and possible our best player. Our Oline evaluation can't be truly evaluated until a week from today. We have made several other moves the last 2-3 years that have been very good, like getting Marshall, Dansby, Burnett, V. Davis, Smith, Cameron Wake, Pouncy etc.....we can't overload with a bunch of stars like a video game. I agree with most that Mark Coloumbo sucks, but there is a reason all these other players, former pro bowlers have been getting cut. Quit feaking out until we have played a couple of real games that matter! Quit analyzing every freakin transaction and getting your panties in a wad!!

Truth is that although it may not be a true way to evaluate the entire "team", it 100% is the way to evaluate the "player".

It wasa question.. What do you think I dont agree with exactly? The Edds release? Go back and look at my posts and stand corrected. I could care less that they released him. It must be easy to not have an opinion or a thought on any topic regarding this team.

Uh, Edds a fourth round draft pick considered a project at this level gets Hurt his first year and has a subpar second year preseason. He let a lot of 2nd and third stringers catch passes on him so he didn't live up to the hype. He seemed to come in on the end of plays rather than making the plays so maybe after the coaches saw film and evaluated our needs on OLine and TE he was expendable. Just a thought.

I agree completlly, it seems ireand has a brainfart this time of year with the constant churning, i don't care what anyone says, edds was playing great in preseason, if 1 of our inside lb get hurt it will turn out to be a huge mistake, he did same thime with jake grove last yr and out o-line sucked, he sucks with bottom 5 of roster, and i don't want to hear about special teams because our st have been crap last 3 years

I'm not really concerned about the Edds move although it represents another wasted pick. I'm more concerned with the team carrying 2 QBs, RBs, and a bunch of back ups on the OL.

Edds could not cover 2nd and 3rd stringers,WTF were you watching?
