I implore you. If you want to create a chat feature, by all means proceed. But please don't do it at the expense of the good old shoutbox. I've been nailing that thing for going on 4 years now, and as a first stopping point it is one of my favorite places on FH. Bring it back, please?
 
that's no fun Wharf....Is the original archived so old stuff can be restored in the new format?

sadly.... no.
If I had known it was gonna blow it all out (the last upgrade kept everything intact), I woulda archived it, and gotten everyone's post count...

although... I may be able to get "some" of it from an older backup... I'll look into it.
