Although I'm told C Shaun O'Hara is ready and willing to sign with Miami immediately, the team does not have imminent plans to add him.

Yes, O'Hara likes potential fit in Miami. Yes, the Dolphins loved O'Hara as a person. I'm told he just wasn't healthy enough during visit.

He also says that you'll see an influx of available veterans signed after Week One because termination pay drops dramatically at that point.

Go get him sporano!

Just gross they do not address an obvious need. Sometimes this staff and FO is so "proud" at the expense of the team.

I know he has a history of playing guard, but can anyone give any insight on how he did at that position? I'd love to bring him in, but if he's not healthy, I'm a little worried. Look at Vernon, it looks like his knee surgery has hampered him.

Er, did you read the part that is in bold below ? Guess not.

Giants did not re sign O'Hara for good reason. Like maybe not passing a physical reason.

Very unnerving that they keep that bum Columbo in at RT. He and Carey deserve to be released. Horrific job this front office has done at putting a OL together.

Not to wise to just dump them with no other alternative ready.

While health concerns are a valid deterrent, especially if we're gonna have to pay out some serious scratch with guarantees, still, I'll take a 3/4 healthy O'Hara definitely over a healthy Columbo and lately a healthy Carey, fersure.

Yeah it really is inexcuseable the job our FO has done with this line. There are guys on the market that could help us out a lot right now. Im still not sure why they dont talk to Davis, he is at 345 and said to be in the best shape of his career.

My friend is a Giants lifer, said they got rid of him because he was not healthy. I don't trust our medical staff, but I assume they think the kid just can't go otherwise we would have snagged him weeks ago.

Errrr, I did read below. I would sign him...get him with my trainers and system and have him ready for New England opening night. I suppose you would keep rolling with the garbage we saw the other night.

BTW, O'Hara is not the only free agent that has been around this summer. SO, I will stick to my point that this FO is SO proud it will stay with its decisions even if they prove to be wrong.

Brian Waters. Bryant McKinnie. Jared Gathier. Trade for Gurode. Lenard Davis. All could be had or at least could have been had.

Drew brees wasn't healthy either but culpepper was. Our medical staff blows and should be cut.

If o'hara isn't healthy then fins should look elsewhere, no need to risk on another lineman with injury concerns. Even though we know recent front office likes to gamble on these cases.

Dude a sack of **** is a better alternative to Codumbo and Drew Carey. These dudes suck and need replacing asap.

Am I the only one who thinks that we should see Jerry and Garner? I think they should be better than Carey and Columbo. Think Long-Jerry-Pouncey-Incognito-Garner, could be a much better OL, otherwise what's the point of having OL depht if they are even worse than those two on the right side!!! Between Murtha, Garner and Jerry we should have two better than Columbo and Carey.

The Giants released O'Hara because of the uncertainty about his health and because of his $3.45 million salary.
