According to Ben Volin, the Dolphins have talked to Davis. They, like a few other teams, are awaiting his decision on where he wants to play.
 
I live in GMAN land and my brother is a diehard. His input was that Ohara lost a step last year and with the injuries he is not worth squat. Pouncy will state at center and that is the bootom line. To bad John Jerry cant get his fat a$$ away from the fridge because the kid is a beast and strong as hell but has the work ethic of Peggy Bundy...

I don't have much of an opinion on Garner, but gotta think he can't be any worse than Cary at RG. As for Jerry....He is on the Vernon Carey offseason workout plan, and is competing with Carey and Columbo for worst O-lineman on the roster. I'm betting he does not even make the final 53.

Ben&Jerry is on his way out. Dude is really terrible now. No way Jerry makes the 53 man roster.

In defense of the medical staff, I don't think they felt either Brees or Culpepper was completely healthy. A decision was probably made based who they thought was healthier and also financial considerations. Obviously hindsight leans to Brees being the better option....
 
Ohara at RG might be better than Carey at RG, and Carey at RT is probably still better than Craplumbo at RT. Sign Ohara to RG and move Carey back to RT. Maybe the reason why Carey is so bad at RG is because he is used to RT.

I guess the only reason they signed Dansby was because he was an ex-Cowboy. Oh wait, he wasn't.

Grove and Smiley weren't ex-Cowboys either but also had injury concerns like O'Hara.

That could be one reason. Although he has played OG before, It has been almost seven years since he has to do so. The different techniques and verbage he has had to learn in three weeks may be a little too much for him at the moment.

Sparano moved Leonard Davis to OG from OT and it worked pretty well for the Cowboys and I think he was hoping for lightening to strike twice. So far it has not worked out.
 
Sign Leonard Davis, Sean O"Hara or Max Starks ASAP this line needs help like yesterday.
