If we can sign Brees, then our QB problem is solved and we can spend our first round pick on a high impact rookie. Either a LB, DT,CB, or S. We would be getting some heck of a player and many of the pieces would be in place! Man I'm so excited. But do you guys think if we sign Brees then our first round pick is on D?

If we get Brees then out first pick should be defence......after QB the only 2 positions I can see us going with is WR and o-line....WR with our top pick is not likely....I don't see an o-lineman worth taking at 16 at this point tho there're a few guards and a center(Mangold) worth taking in round 2 so I see us going OLB or DB depending on who's there and on who else we'd get in free agency.....Greenway if he's there could be the pick...Huff and Lawson are posible too if they're there and so is Ngata if he falls.

DE in the 4-3/olb in the 3-4. either way 2nd ,3rd,4th should be cb,s,ol{left tackle prospect} in any order saban sees fit. but lawson in the 1st.

If we get Brees, I like this scenario.......

Huff or Greenway would be solid at no. 16, with Nick Mangold in round 2, and Whitehurst/Croyle in rounds 3 or 4 to provide youthful depth behind Brees.

I think the first pick could be on D whether or not Miami signs Brees. Brees would seriously upgrade a position that has been subpar now since Dan Marino retired. Imagine how good the Dolphins could have been if they had better qb play in Ricky Williams' first year.

Anyway if Greenway and Huff are gone, I'd love to see Miami draft Lawson, Watson or Cromartie in the first round.

I'd be real suprised if we go with a reciever before round 3 or 4. These team has to many needs to spend a high draft pick on a 3rd string reciever.

I would love to draft Huff if he is there...if not, I would consider trading down if possible and grabbing an LB in the late first...Sims or Howard would be a good choice.

this would be an interesting possibility if we do get Brees, then trade down and get more picks to upgrade our D. Thing is we will need to find a team that will want to trade up. at 16, not too many teams will really want to trade up with us. but you never know

Yeah, I agree with Huff big time, but I doubt we can get him. Im not so sure on Bing, but will be interesting. Id rather Greenway over Bing, so it will be interesting to see who is there
