I hope everyone gets the chance to see the former Dolphin OJ Brigance's story on ESPN tonight. He has been diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease. It is weird to see someone so young that is so depleted in such a short period of time. Sad story but very inspirational.

Ya, I was watching that....sad. I remember him well as a Phin because I thought he had a cool name. He is in my prayers.

You wonder if anyone even really remembers him. I remember him, but, I suck because I don't love everyone on the team or whatever. Never mind I saw Brigance play.

Sorry to hear about the lot he drew. Damn shame.

I only remember him as a fin. I forgot he even played for the Ravens. I used to laugh at his name being OJ and all but he was a hell of a special teams player. Just thought the story sheds a lot of light on what is important.

I remember he laid out Bledsoe in a game in like 97 I think. Hell of a 3rd down rusher, as well as a ST Ace.

I remember that he was one of the few dolphins that was nice enough to sign the cover of my SI mag when I saw the phins back in '96 against the Raiders. It was a tough loss and most couldn't be bothered for an autograph. So the fact that he took a moment to show appreciation for a fan was awesome.

I wish pray for his health, and hope they find a way for him to deal with his ailment in the most managable way possible.
