OK, here goes all you draftniks! This is the draft that would be tough to beat. All players are projected BELOW where our pick is and it fills a lot of holes. This one should satisfy MOST everyone!!!! (Updated March 16, 2007 after many great comments, mostly to provide some depth at DE - thanks Stitches). Note: Brown and Robinson are FAST.

9. (1st) Gaines Adams or Jamaal Anderson, DE, Projected at 7, 11
40. (2nd) Drew Stanton, QB, Michigan State Projected at 63
60. (2nd) Sampson Satele, C, Hawaii Projected at 65
71. (3rd) Baraka Atkins, DE, Miami Projected at 110
104. (4th) Allen Barbre, OT, Missouri Southern Projected at 184
166. (6th) Courtney Brown, CB, Cal Poly Projected at 181
184. (6th) Laurent Robinson, WR, Illinois State Projected at 185
201. (7th) Gabe Hall OT, Texas Tech Projected at 256
210. (7th) Ahmad Bradshaw, RB, Marshall Projected at 268

Too many OL. No LB or DE depth.

I'm one of the FEW who aren't impressed.

9. (1st) Alan Branch,

NO

40. (2nd) Drew Stanton, QB, Michigan State Projected at 63

HELL NO

60. (2nd) Sampson Satele, C, Hawaii Projected at 65

YES-I like Sampson quite a bit.

71. (3rd) James Marten, OT, Boston College Projected at 94

NOT BAD- Wouldnt be a real bad pick, except we need an LT that can step in right away. Not this kid IMO

104. (4th) David Clowney, WR, Florida State Projected at 107
166. (6th) Tim Duckworth, OG, Auburn Projected at 167
184. (6th) Deandre Jackson, CB, Iowa State Projected at 183
201. (7th) Gabe Hall OT, Texas Tech Projected at 256
210. (7th) Kasey Studdard, OG, Texas Projected at 270

True, we need olinemen, but we have tons of holes to fill. The only ones out of the rest I would put stock in are perhaps Duckworth and Studdard...

I would go with Kevin Kolb at QB...we could probably get him in the late 3rd or early 4th....I just think he is a tougher QB than Stanton, less brittle, and better arm. I like Satele at Center, or Doug Datish of Ohio State. Datish is way bigger than Satele and has longer arms.

David Clowney went to Va Tech not FSU... mock isnt bad but i would prefer:
1. Laron Landry
2a. Ryan Kalil
2b. Aaron Sears
3. Craig Davis
4. Lorenzo Booker

Projected by who? On to your mock.....I'd be very happy if we get Branch,Stanton and Satele....but we won't draft 5 o-linemen and we won't have 2 picks on round 6 it seems as Bid Daddy's retiring.

Ozzy rules!!

I could live with that draft.

My "WISH LIST" would be:
1. Quinn
2a. Kalil
2b. Craig Davis
3. David Irons/Daymeion Hughes
4. Tim Shaw

But since i doubt most of those would fall to those positions, this one is more reasonable:

1. Branch/Okoye (need d linemen, period)
2a. Craig Davis (underrated, better than Reggie Brown of Eagles)
2b. David Irons/Daymeion Hughes (we need a LOT of CB help)
3. Samson Satele (can play G or C)
4. Tim Shaw (can play either LB position in the 3-4)

Very nice. I would only prefer Kolb in the 3rd. Other then that I would be happy

Pretty sweet... I don't think Booker will be there for us in four but would be awesome if he was. Waiting to till the 5th round (at least) to grab a QB is not the way I would go, but I do find it tough to take anyone off your list.

It cant be a really really good mock unless it has us taking Quinn imo. And like Stitches said to many olineman, and I'd like to see a corner taken sooner.

I really like your more realistic draft. That would be very solid. I'd think a better CB prospect would be there at 2b, but it's hard to project at this point, and I wouldn't be upset with Irons(not a fan of Hughes though from a speed standpoint).

Laron Laundry would be a great pick and yes safety is a very important position in order to have sucess on defense..My only concern is that Atlanta would jump ahead of us and select him...I wish we could have signed grant at safety and drafted Landry that would be a great Def Backfield..

Mock Draft

1 Landry S
2 Staley OT
2 Satele C
3 Jason Hill WR
