Ok..confused..help please

OK right now i stand soo confused on what is goin on can some1 please explain thats gonna happen at 11:30pm ..is that when hell starts 4 the finz cause in 07 theres gonna be no cap and there gonna ****ed by the teams that have more money...but doesnt 11:30 also mean they can sign brees ...i kno that would be hard because of the cap room but can some1 explain whats gonna happen ?
 
We need to be under the cap by 11:30. That means that players like Seau and Frerotte will be released. We can't sign players like Brees until 12:01. So basicly 31 minutes after the cut deadline.

by 11:30 all teams must be under the cap. i believe 91 million. so that means a boat load of cuts. especially for us, if we want to land big FA's like brees. tomorrow we can start signing FA's. 07 will be an uncapped year so mr h. is goin to have fork out some dough to sign FA's then. but it wont effect guys that are already signed. hope that helps. bout all i know.
 
and don't listen to everybody who says we're screwed.

As Nublar said in another thread, It just means we'll have 5 or 6 FAs instead of the normal 10-12.

Teams under the cap will just have more spending money, and a lot of big name guys from other teams will get released.
 
thank you nublar...by the way love the films keep em coming next year!!! so what are the odds of getting brees now...from what i hear carter needs 2 reconstruct, gus, seau , maybe even book might have 2 go , ontop of everything that has already happen..would they they be able to sign brees (most important) , McGinest , or the 2 o-line men , shelton or the dude from the saints ?

I think they have a lot of work to do before they sign many or any.

we could Sign Brees and maybe 1 other guy he mentioned, not all of them.

We'll still get some FA's just not as many.

offer him a contract once we're under cap. Nothing much else we can do.

Then we might be able to get either Shelton or Bentley, but more than likely Shelton. (good coaches can lure good players to their teams).

Other than that we'll probably sign guys like Ahmad Plummer, Will Allen, Ryan Clark, and Antonio Bryant.
