Ok guys, just for fun, here's a 5 round mocl for us...

I know is early for this and we'll have to see what we do in free agency but I was bored so here it goes.I'm think we'll draft around 6 or 7 so Leinart will be gone.I think we could get a WR and a DT in free agency or DB.If we do that we'd still need a QB, an OLB,an ILB, a corner and a DT.I think we're ok with the o-line(tho I wouldn't mind a LT)and we're set at RB and TE.

1-Hawk-OLB,Ohio ST.
2-Cutler-QB,Vandy
3-Phillips-Corner,Penn ST
4-Fifita-DT,Utah
5-Schlegel-ILB,Ohio ST

Add a Safety and a good WR to the mix, Poole coming back and Vickerson,Wright and Roth hopefully playing more and we're fielding a younger defence and that's what I call rebuilding.On offence we'd have our QB of the future, we have the RB and the o-line is getting better.Now have fun with it guys.

id love that....though u think schlegel gets all the way to the 5th? i thought he would go a little earlier but that would be a good draft :up:
 
Schlegel will still go on the first day probably round 2 even after breaking his ankle.

Well, ILB's and guard and center always seem to drop.But I don't really know if he'd drop that far but we need to think ILB cos Zack's getting older, has been hurt 2 years in a row now and I think Crowder's gonna be better outside than in and we wanna play a 3-4 so we need LB's.

it's pretty much like you said there has to be a WR and a Safety added into the mix for next years draft to be a successful one unless we go after the two positions in free agency which is a good possibility. I do love the draft but we won't have a fifth because we used it when we picked up Wright unless we got one from somewhere else and i don't know that i'd draft a DT anyway because we are pretty deep at the position, i'd more than likely use it elsewhere

Wow, round 2? Maybe I'm dreaming then.I know he's a good player on the best LB unit in the country but damn it, we need LB's.We could get one in free agency tho.Of course if we were to take a guy like Ngata with our top pick then that changes things.

i got no problem with the pick at all hell give me all 3 of the ohio st LBs and ive heard hawk projects better as a ILB maybe he could be zachs replacement

I like the first pick, though I prefer Greenway. I think it's pretty unrealistic to say we're going to get Leinhart. I'd jump for joy at #2. The other three, I cannot comment on.
