I'm bored so here it goes...I'm sure I'll change my mind 100 times before april tho. I'm not gonna go crazy here thinking that we can get 5 all pro free agents plus 4 draft picks in round one.Last free agency Nick got us a few free agents...this time I want only 2.Peterson and Bentley. If we only get 2 then I think we can afford them both but that's all we can get imo.I'd rather have quality than quantity this time. With Bently you can have Hadnot back to guard and with Peterson, Crowder and Zack we can do a lot of things.I's still look to draft an ILB in the late rounds tho.

My mock,
1-Cutler-QB,Vandy. Yes, I think he can be there at 15 for us
2-Edwards-DE,Perdue.The guys has all the talent
3-Harper-SS,Bama.A real leader out there that does the little things
4-Moss-WR,Miami.I know he's not big but he can take it to the thouse at anytime..another option here is Green from LSU

QB-Gus,Cutler
RB-Brown,Ricky
WR-CC,Booker,Welker,Moss
TE-Randy
O-LINE-Mack-James-Bentley-Hadnot-Carey

DE's-Roth,Carter,JT,Edwards
DT's-Manny,Vickerson,Holliday,Zgonina and/or Traylor depending on who's back

OLB's-Crowder,Peterson,Spragan
ILB's-Zack,Pope

Corner's-Poole,Daniels,Sam
Safeties-Harper,Lance,Bell

I think is realistic with only 2 free agents and the spots for the draft picks...I did my homework and countdown plus a couple of other sites agree with those spots fpr the most part. :dolphins:

I think Sinorice Moss is good enough that he will be drafted in the 2nd or 3rd.

Could be but he's only 5'8 and ligth so he could slip to the 4th..if not,Green who played for Saban could be an option.

Did u see my mock???

Mel Kiper had Moss ranked as the 14th overall prospect last I checked. In a year where Steve Smith toasted the league, I think teams are going to give small speedsters a close look.

Moss will not make it out of the 2nd round, and you can bet on that. Teams are learning a lot about speed at the receiver position this year, as two of the top receivers are very small (Santana Moss, Steve Smith). His height, unlike his brother, will probably keep him out of the first round, but he has all the skills to be a productive #2 or #3 (at worst) receiver. Hell, if Moss slipped to us at the top of the 3rd round, somehow, I'd be pissed if we passed on him.

Remember, this isn't exactly an "elite" WR class. The only receiver in this class that I'm sold on is Santonio Holmes.

True. This WR class lacks the game breaker at WR with great speed. He's Kiper & Scout Inc's #2 senior WR behind Hagan.

Wow, I didn't know that he had gone up that high.....I love his speed and play making ability but I like Edwards in the 2nd better. We also need a safety and I really like what Harper brings but Moss in the 3rd would be fine with me if he's there.

I just looked at it and I can see that we see some of the same needs....the draft is fun again now that Nick's calling the shots instead of Wanny.... :D
I guess other than Moss you guys like my mock and the free agents?

moss would be a nice value pick, and i like edwards, who is going to be a guy that drops in the draft following an average season then turns out to be a huge steal in the draft. i'd like to get him, but meh.....DE that high?

is moss better than roscoe as a pure receiving threat? im sorry, but i dont get to watch many cane games...

Well, here's the thing...he could be the best value at that point. And can you imagine a d-line of Roth,Manny,Vickerson and Edwards together for the next 8 years?and then with Peterson and Crowder back there? Is all about value with Nick. And he likes big DE's and Ray's 6'6 and over 260 now.

edwards is a specimen. he had a lot of preseason hype. he had a down year. no doubt the value is there, and he probably would be the BPA. still i'd like to see the draft board around then
