With all the suggestions for Pat White, I have a few for Henne ...

How 'bout we put Henne at WR or TE, whichever you prefer. Lets rifle the ball in to him and give him a chance to show his hands. Put him one-on-one with a corner. Let Pat throw to him. No wait, let Ronnie throw to him after a fake hand-off to Ricky. Then we can snap the ball to Ronnie and let Ricky block for White on an end-around. Henne can jump up and down behind the TB DL who will be standing there in awe at all of the threats, who can actually run with the ball.

Then, put Henne deep for punt returns and ask him to fair-catch BUT show him what a fair catch is first. Or you can have him lateral to Ginn and then block downfield. No WAIT! Put him behind Ronnie, in the Wildcat, say 10 yards in the back-field and with 2 minutes left in the game, so he can call a timeout on 1st and 10 because a DL flinched. OR Ronnie could toss it back to him, Ronnie, Ricky and Pat could block for him and he could stand, indecisive in the pocket, and throw it to the sidelines.

I know, sounds crazy huh?

Gosh, I love the anticipation for a Sunday game!

Maybe you shouldn't post until you make sense or sober up...

This is an absolutely useless post which should never have been started...

What're you talkin about bro? I guess you're joking but I'm not sure I see the irony that you're trying to show... Let's put Paul Soliai at quarterback. WOUDLN"T THAT BE FUNNY YOU GUYSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!

I don't drink and I didn't intend to make sense. I have seen, as have many, much more useless posts. I was hoping to lighten the mood of some who have nothing better to do but get down on the team we so love?

If you think this was anything but... get a grip.

As to Pat White starting? I will never give up. It'll just be too bad when he is scoring touchdowns and putting up numbers for another team because none of you ever gave him a chance.

Peace, love and football!

Son, following a team because of one player is bad. We already know you're in it for the short run.

We're fans here. We like the Dolphins.

Pat White is a richley deserved footnote

You haven't a clue what a 'Long run' fan is! You're 42 years young. Where were you in '72 when they went undefeated. How about when Shula took over and said 'hard work' was the only key to success? How about when they played the Chiefs in the longest playoff game in NFL history? They lost that year, SuperBowl VI to the Cowboys, 24-3. What team what Griese playing when he broke his leg? That would be the Chargers and that was when Earl Morrall took over. BUT, he came back as a sub during the playoff game that year, against the Steelers. Who lined up that year as the 'No Name Defense'? Hmmm.... let me think....LB Buoniconti, DE Stanfill, Tackle Mr. Manny Fernandez, and safeties Dick Anderson and Jake Scott. That year Czonka and Morris were the first back, on the same team, to rush for 1000+ yards.

Woodley, from LSU took the reigns from Griese who injured his shoulder against the then Baltimore Colts and would never play again. Don't forget Don Strock, that same year...

Lets not even talk about the legendary 'Killer B's' who in '82 (remember the strike season?) was the season of the 'snow plow' game against the Patriots. After losing that one, they beat 'em (I watched it) 28-13. They also beat the Jets 14-0 in the AFC playoffs. Shula (God love 'em) left the field uncovered after 2 weeks of rain to slow down the receivers of the Jets...

I won't go on...

If you love the Dolphins, that's all that matters. Not how long have you but how long WILL you....
