Hold up, wasn't it just 3 years ago that the Jets were talking all the crap in the world about the Wildcat and Bart Scott said something to the effect of calling it the "***** cat"? Correct me if im wrong but that did happen right? Was ESPN not ragging on us ridiculously for using the Wildcat & now that the Jets are using it it's all good? Someone clear this up for me please...
 
Tebow factor...Everyone loves Tim Tebow. He can't do anything wrong, except throw a football !!!
 
I don't recall ESPN ragging on us ridiculously for using the wildcat. Just like anything else there were some that hated on it and some that liked it. Plus the Jets have been using a variation of it the last few years. The focus is on Tebow now so of course it is news.

But the real question is why do you care?
 
I think it was Calvin Pace after you guys beat us in Miami on that Monday Night in 2009. Times change, I still hate the WC but we have been using it the last few years and we will continue to. Now we have the best guy running it, Rex obviously knows how hard(or irritating) it is to prepare for it. We'll see what happens.

I dont ever recall anyone on ESPN giving us any credit FOR being innovators at the time & i care because no one ever gets called out on this stuff, seriously.

That's b/c that formation had been run long before Miami sued it. Miami just used it much more and more successfully than other teams had.

We embarrassed the Patriots on there home field with it. That is why it got so much press. That doesn't happen very often.
