who are we drafting? We should have around the 14th pick or so?

OL? CB? LB?

I know some of you know much more about this than me.

Personally, I'd go defense with 1st 3 picks (bpa on defense in each round). Id try to upgrade Hartline and one G position in FA or from within.
 
Hartline is a huge disappointment this year. I would rather start Landry or Gibson in his spot.
 
With so many areas we can improve, BPA is an easy concept.

Having said that, DL, OL, LB, DB.

Unless Amari Cooper can be had.

He can't be had, he is a top 5 pick.
 
I am starting to change my mind on the need to get a big TE early. I think Dion Sims can be that guy... if we just get him on the field. He is not a world-class athlete, but he's 6'5" and he really seems to be growing into the role of pass-catching threat.

We need to take a WR and a DT early. No two ways about it, I think. Hartline is just wasting snaps out there and good Lord, our defensive line is a wreck.
 
we have so many holes on this team, we just need to hit on what ever positions we draft, especially rounds 1-3.

i'm inclined to gut the LB (ellerbe, wheeler) and WR (hartline, gibson) positions and try to draft a game changer in round 1. would love to swap out Odrick with Suh as well.
 
this draft will be different from last year imo. Last year it was obvious it was an OT. This year it could be the best value at multiple positions until free agency has happened its tough. G, CB, S, and LB are all the most needed. I wouldnt mind seeing us get a big time RB. Here is my best guess right now:

RD 1- LB: Biggest hole because we only have two so we are forced to play in the nickle most of a game which imo it why the run D has suffered.
RD 2- OG: i think turner steps up but Thomas, college, and Smith wont cut it

After that it could go any way for me.
 
OL,OL,OL Until Hickey gets it right. Seriously, at a minimum, 2 ol picks. Unsure how Billy Turner will turn out.
 
this is a great year for wideouts, but if cooper or coates or the kid from louisville is there hmmm, we might already have our lbs on the team if tripp and mccain can develop. but we could use help all over the place
 
Miami needs to trade up in the draft...and get some quality players there and through free agency.
