OK its time to grade the offseason

On a A-F scale grade the offseason now that its football time.

I give them a B, Saban should have picked up more O lineman.

Should have made a poll but anyway Ill give it a B I believe Saban did the best he could with this situation he inherited from the last regime. watch out next year.

Well said. Agree 100%. Except maybe watch out a little this year too.
 
I gave an A and a B because I think if this were a test it would be a 90% grade so like low A- high B+ lol :goof:

I did as well. If we had gotten a decent QB I would have said A+++ :lol:

Arent they the same thing if not really close. Lets just say A and B are pretty damn good.
 
It's too early to judge the players brought in, but bringing in Linehan and Houck give the grade atleast a B.
 
B- Liked all the picks except missing out on some great middle round qbs. I sound like a broken record harping on the missed opprotunities at qb but I really think some of those 2nd and 3rd round qbs are going to haunt us for years.
 
i say a b - because we could have gotten qb orton in rd 1 wr mark bradley in rd2 and vernand morency in rd 3 and cb darrent williams in rd 4 so we would have filled more needs . and when we play denver you all will see why passing on him was a mistake . but just for the record i really like ronnie brown.

you were gonna draft orton with the second overall pick? We could have had him much later on
 
Yeah I saw that. Beside how did he get to vote 3 times?
 
I gave a B-. Significant improvement over last year's F-, but we didn't adequately address QB, OL, and the secondary got worse. Fixing Wanny's mess will take some time though, and I'm sure as these issues are addressed this year and next it could become A work, but we need to see it in results on the field.
 
Since we are grading the offseason and not just Saban...Then we are basically grading Mr.Wayne and Saban...So I would have to give them an A+.

Mr.Wayne for aquiring Saban...And Saban for the elite coaching staff he has assembled, for his draft picks and personnell moves, and for the way he has handled the entire post Wanny situation...Not to mention his dealing with the Miami media masterfully which is not an easy thing to do...And let's not forget how he handled the Ricky Williams situation...Not many coaches could have done what he has done with Ricky.
