There has been 1,000's of replies, however, no one has talked (esp in the media), the main question.....how did this effect the play of the offensive line the last few years. Think of the breakdowns that have occurred in both parts of the offense - run and pass. This to me is the main question - and should be addressed by Philbin and/or Ireland. We lost both of them last week and ran the ball very well AND beat a great team that was the flavor of the week to win the Super Bowl. So let me pose this question:
By getting rid of these two players, will the offensive line play be better? Isn't that all that matters? Do you really care about the well-being of Martin? This problem gets a better look 8 -9 games early, because of nothing surfaced, it is probably known that Incognito wouldn't have come back anyway. And, we just know that Martin isn't cut out for the line, so scouts and whoever is the GM/Coach, can at least start doing advanced work to replace these two players. Knowledge is power and maybe, just maybe, there is direction now
