No I wasn't at SD...I live in Kissimmee,fl and for some reason they didn't have the game in my area so I went to a bar to watch the game..I was the only fin fan there and had to watch it in a small TV with no audio and the TV set was a little far from me too but it was worth it.

First I have to give props to Gus...I still want us to draft a young QB but he did make some plays out there today...CC, drop a pass early that'd have been a 1st down but after that he was good again so props to him too....Manny, the guy's gonna be a beast...Crowder...he's already a beast, what a steal in the 3rd round....the best 3rd rounder since JT imo.....Sam Maddison...wtf? what got into him today? He had like about 4 tackles on running plays and it wasn't him chasing anyone...they were real tackles...so Sam can tackle after all...he just doesn't like to but I think he got mad after a play with one of the chargers and after that he was a tackling machine.....no sacks....the defence played with heart after our usual slow start and they ended up great...LT only 75 on more than 20 carries....Welker's returns were good too...overall this team is not going in the right direction...finding ways to win....I can't see NE losing out but we're gonna make the playoffs next year.

Oh and I almost forgot...it was great to have Zack back!!

Zach's INT was huge....he plays with a busted up shoulder and inspires the Defense.....Zach deserves the Pro Bowl this year. :)
 
Dude during the game here were my thoughts

As frerotte throws great passes- Thats for all the fans who say Gus sucks!

As chambers makes his 2 TD receptions- Not a #1 Reciever huh? Yeah baby!!

As sam makes tackles- HAHA for all you guys who say sam cant tackle!!

Sam can't! If he continues tackling like that [hitting high and am tackling] he'll wing up on IR or som'n.

Yeah, I was gonna remark on that too. I think that like all of us, he is very excited about today's win so I can forgive was was most likely a typo.
Anyways, I have been Sam Madison's biggest critic for a good part of the last 3 years, especially on his tackling, but he came to play today.
One thing I would like to point out, and this is something I've noticed all year not just today: Gus stands strong in the pocket. He's not afraid to avoid a defender and sling it downfield. He obviously did it in the pass to Booker, but he's been doing it all year long. Unfortunately, alot of throws that he makes when he escapes defenders are incomplete or intercepted. However, having the guts and pocket presence that he has is someting to note. He must have been doing that drill in Madden with the tennis balls and receiver buttons lol.
 
I loved the play where zack wrestled the ball away on that pass. Did they rule that an interception or a fumble?


Weird that the game wasn't on in Kissimmee. It was on CBS in Melboure and we get Orlando channels which I would think Kissimme would too.

Sorry man, it was a typo...just hit the wrong key...I meant to say that this team is NOW,going in the rigth direction as oppose to NOT...if you read the whole post as I' sure you did, it doesn't make any sense to say NOT so I'm sorry about that but thanks for bringing it up to my attention.

I loved it when Sam came up and tackled LT for no gain....then he went into his pose and gave the "hush" sign to the fans....nice game Sammy!:)

Yeah, he's the problem I have....I got dishnetwork but can't get the local channels from the Orlando area...my locals are from Tampa as I live in the polk county side of Poiciana and I think that's the reason the game wasn't on today.I either get Tampa locals or no locals at all.... :cry:

:lol: I was thinking the same thing. I see Chambers was his money man this week.

Saban has these guys playing with confidence and put a little swagger in their walk..
