Can Aponte tell Tannenbaum what to do? Can Ross without consulting with Marino and Hickey ? I'm just confused. I don't even know who to hate and there isn't a banner in the world big enough to place all these names to fly around the stadium after we crash and burn again..........

Aponte has no say over Tannebaum, supposedly though Tannebaum has no authority to fire or hire a head coach much like Hickey.
Ross feels he is so adept at hiring head coaches

Basically he gave the GM another boss.

Seems to me this is showing no trust in Hickey. On a good note, I can also make this out to be Ross wanting 2 GM's putting their heads together to get the best players here via draft, FA, and trades.

been tracking commentary from current/former unnamed employees of Related; general consensus is these kinds of decisions/hirings/non-firings/many chiefs-few underlings scenarios are the norm, and that Related succeeds despite corporate executive constipation (albeit at snails pace)

Nope. I love #13 and his legacy as well as anyone, but he never got a ring did he? My father was 38 when the Dolphins last won a Superbowl. I always thought about the moment when we finally won and could enjoy it together. Now he is 80 and we are running out of time.

I want Tannehill to be himself. Build a Team around him. Place him in a position to succeed and he will Easily grab a Lombardi. But Ross seems more inclined to hire YES men and a team of fools. The one person that actually did a credible job, Dennis Hickey is being questioned!!?

Unbelievable. We are doomed.

Yeah, this is the way I feel exactly.

If this jest @ss cl0wn was here last year, Hickey would NOT have drafted the o-lineman he drafted, he would not have drafted fede and who know what else would have happened.

I think this situation isn't 'finally' more 'stable' and 'resolved', but just the opposite...

Hickey and Philbin and the WHOLE team of players under contract are all talking to their agents 24-7 now trying to get the f0ck out of there ASAFP.
