Among the players recovering from injury or returning this week are starting receivers Chris Chambers (ankle) and Oronde Gadsden (shoulder); starting defensive tackles Tim Bowens (knee) and Larry Chester (leg); running back Travis Minor (hamstring); offensive tackle Marcus Spriggs (knee); and receiver Dedric Ward (foot).

Doctor reassures Thomas
