Is definatly ganna be gone next year or when its allowed , like after the superbowl, Last year Marty Booker , Trent Green, Zach Thomas, Hadnot not resigned, Keith Traylor, Travis Daniels traded, Cleo Lemon, and Im sure they are others. This Year, what yall think? Wilford, no ifs and or buts...Carey probably gone Fasano Or Martin... one of them Might be gone, BUt Id keep them both, Thats a strength...........Will Allen or Aundre Goodman def gone........... Jason Allen IS more Volnerable.....................Vonnie HOliday is gone unless he restructers....................Beck Without a ? (Ill bet my season tickets on it)If they update the linebacker pos, Crowder will be gone......................Satele, Maybe........................Theres a chance Lehan will be gone and a good chance Hill will be gone...........................Most of the special teams will be gone</p>

This may sound laughable, but does John Beck have any trade value?

The league is full of aging Quarterbacks (Warner, Favre, Garcia, Collins), QB controversy (McNabb-Kolb for example) and guys who just cant play (see: Chicago, Detroit, Minnesota, St. Louis maybe).

A lot of teams lost QBs to injuries and found out very quickly that they did not have a capable backup. Dallas, Seattle.

Surely we can get SOMETHING for him?

I believe Miami will be interested in the following f/a 1) CB- Chris Gamble: for obvious reasons... being a major need for a true #1 CB... i think he is the #1 target... his addition gives Miami 3 solid CB's to match up against most WR packages that are deployed against Miami's defense... 2) WR- Laverneous Coles: his connection to pennington and his overall knowledge of the offensive system make him a perfect fit!!! he will also bring additional leadership to the offensive huddle... 3) OL- Joe Berger/Mark Columbo: they will bring depth to a young offensive line.. that needs experienced backups!!! they also have a connection to the current coaching staff... giving them previous knowledge of the system in place!!! 4) DE- Chris Canty: he is a younger version of Vonnie Holliday... but only better against the run!!! Canty combined with Merling and Langford gives Miami a formidable DE rotation that will allow all 3 to remain fresh throughout the games... I also feel these 4 pickups will allow Miami to pick the BPA in the 2009 draft!!! i'm betting miami finishes with between 8-9 wins just missing the playoffs and falling in the 12-18 spot in the draft... the one player that could be a suprise pick is Alex Mack... he is the epitomy of a Bill Parcells type player... smart, strong and very aggressive... something i think Satele isn't to this point in his young career.. and i say this because miami's run blocking is really lacking pop at the point of attack so far this year!!! Mack can play both Center and Guard...i know it's just my opinion... but keep an eye on this guy towards the 15-20 pick!!! i realize Parcells likes to build defense 1st... but just watch Mack!!

Why would anyone want Beck? He is 27 and has barely shown any ability to produce in the NFL. I'm sure teams would much rather take a young guy out of the draft than spend anything on Beck.

I think most of our d-backs will not be back next year. I think I would keep Y. Bell, possibly Hill or Goodman, but the rest just seem to be here to collect a paycheck. We need to draft a couple CB's and a Safety or bring in some quality DB's. I think this has to be our main priority. I have not been crazy with our kickers...I think Carpenter and Fields are ok, but Carpenter doesn't have the leg to kick the ball into the end zone on kickoffs and Fields seems pretty inconsistent.

On offense, we need some upgrades at WR. I think Ginn and Camarillo are about the only two locks at WR. Our TE's are ok....but I haven't seen Fassano do much as of late. Martin is pretty solid. I think Channing Crowder will likely be gone next year. We need to draft a real MLB (Laurinaitis, Maulauga, Cushing, Matthews, etc.).

Well they could look at it like getting a bargain, a second round pick with a lot of physical tools that have yet to be tapped into. Getting him for like a 7th rounder.

Did you forget to mention Will Allen?

I think we need many changes on the defense, 2 CB's a good FS one ILB, a fast OLB a young NT and cheaper younger versions of Holliday at DE. On the Offense I think we will only need to upgrade the OL with some strong players that help the running game. WR could be a priority, but I think we should concentrate on running the ball first. My guess is that we keep Smiley, Long & Carey and we will try to improve on C and move Satele to guard, or if Thomas recovers and shows signs of improvement maybe Satele and Carey would end as the casualties. I expect us to sign 2 Solid Veterans for Depht and competition.

On Defense I expect to see A LOT of changes, starting with J.Allen OUT, Bryant, Hill, Coulver and Lehan OUT, because of what they are paid, also Goodman and Will Allen should be out, I would keep Goodman as a Nickel CB, Will Allen only if he restructures, Bell is the only keeper on the secondary. I love Channings attitude, but he lacks tacklings instincts, and Ayodele is OK but not solid, so a ILB is a must. Need some pass rushers to complement Joey Porter. My ideal draft would be a ILB #1 a CB #2A a NT#2B a OLB #3 and OG/C, OT, ST's the rest of the draft. On FA I would add a CB, 2 FS, OG, C, WR, DE, OLB.

We NEED to be dominant on both lines first and we are NOT right know so, I wouldn't mind if we continue to draft OL and DL but we can't ignore our crucial weak point the SECONDARY, like we did last year, or else we should prepare for a frustrating defensive season.

My thoughts are that we may try to upgrade at center and we will not break the bank for Carey so we may have a new center and RT next year. We definately need upgrades at WR. Hopefully Camarillo will make a full recovery. If Wilford doesn't show anything the rest of the year, he will be cut regardless of his 6 million bonus.

As much as I like to see Jason Allen develop, he may be on the hot seat expecially considering his salary. Also, we have to have an upgrade at safety replacing Hill. Hill will be nice to keep for back-up and special teams but not for a starter on "D".

am i the only one who would keep beck around just for the pure and simple fact he doesnt have alot of value. the only way i get rid of him is if im planning on drafting pat white or another mobile qb to help expand the wildcat.

Satele was really getting pushed around by Willfork....I know Willfork weighs 350+ pounds but I think Satele may be better suited at the Guard spot?
