OK, Now why was the game moved? What hurricane?

I know, I live in Tampa and everybody was running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Half my employees flew north !!
 
Dude, hello? It's easy to say that now....after the fact.

Don't you think it is better to be safe? ....a few days ago when they were faced with the decision, forecasters called for the possibility of it hitting florida on sunday. They had to make a decsion and they went with it.
To question it retrospectively only because it didn't happen is just ludicrous.

You could do that with everything in life. I hope you dont.
 
Those hurricanes can change direction at any time.As long as they are out there they are a threat.The best experts cannot predict them.
 
better safe than sorry...

would have been a different matter if it has hit mid game and lives had been lost...

thank **** we have no chance of ever seeing one that strong over here although we are getting the ends of Frances today :(
 
Because now we get one more day than Cinnci to practice and prepare. And Saturday or Sunday really doesn't matter when you've been preparing for months.
 
Well what would you be posting if they ignored the warnings and the path of the storm, and played the game on Sunday and people stayed behind, then the storm hits and KILLS thousands of people?

Hind sight is 20/20 better to be safe than sorry.
 
It's easy to find...just look for the most self serving, condecending, immature, illconceived, self congratulatory, delusional, belittling, sickening tripe you ever seen, and then go left, to fin-atic's thread, which is worse.

It makes me absolutely disgusted that I'm a fan of the same team as some of these people.
 
Can't live with 'em, can't kill 'em :)

I post at AVSforum.com for audio video gear and they had an influx of people in the video game area this summer that is similar in posting styles.
