OK, time to play a little Over/Under.

Tell me "over" or "under" for each scenario in next year.

1. Ronnie Brown rushes for 1,300 yards.

Under - Only a rookie. We can't expect too much too soon. He should have around 900 / 1000 IMO....

2. 14 interceptions for AJ Feeley

Under - AJ Feeley will improve this year. Better OL protection and a decent running game is all Feeley needs IMO....

3. 21 touchdown passes for AJ Feeley

Under - I think he'll be close to that number, but I'm expecting our RB to do be scoring most of the TD's this year. 17-18 TD's for Feeley maybe....

4. 12 sacks for Jason Taylor in Saban's aggressive system

Under - In Sabans new system, JT's numbers could fall slightly IMO. With all the other DE's onboard now, he wont be running away from everyone in the sack department as easily. I think the sacks will be spread out more evenly now....

5. 1,000 recieving yards for Chris Chambers

Over - This is Chambers year to shine. Linehan likes to go vertical, and he's just the kind of OC he's needed down here. Chambers is going to have his first 1,000+ yard season in 2005...

6. 17th ranked offense under Scott Linehan

Over - This is a strange question. I said over based on having a higher ranking. It's actually lower based on the question however....

7. 8 wins

Over - Saban has built this team quickly. He's added all the needed tools to be a competitive team in 2005. I think we've improved dramatically, and looking at the losses last year, only one really standed out as a definitive loss. That was the Jets game in NY. All the other losses were hard fought, and usually within reach. I say we have a good chance of going 9-7 this year...

PHINZ RULE!!!

4. 12 sacks for Jason Taylor in Saban's aggressive system

5. 1,000 recieving yards for Chris Chambers

6. 17th ranked offense under Scott Linehan

7. 8 wins

1. UNDER ... Linehan's system is focused more on the pass. Now, if you were to ask about his TOTAL YARDS, I would say over.

2. UNDER ... If Feeley screws up that much behind a revamped O-line, that means he is not adjusting to the new system, and Frerotte will replace him. He wouldn't have a chance to get that many picks. However, I feel Feeley will be successful.

3. OVER ... Feeley will not put up Peyton-like #s, but will be efficient as a result of the aforementioned changes (new system, and revamped O-line)

4. OVER ... That was the toughest one yet. I can see his numbers dipping due to playing in a new system, but opposing teams will not be able to double team him anymore, due to other pickups (Carter, Roth, Holliday, etc.)

5. OVER ... He will finally break that mark, and I think he'll blow it away. I'm guessing around 1,400 yards.

6. UNDER ... (as in better) Especially if we pick up a good 3rd receiver (Hakim, or a healthy Boston) and if Ricky returns.

7. OVER ... They've got an extremely tough schedule, but I think they'll be able to take 9 or 10 this year. My hope is that they'll be able to grab a wild card, as I believe they will get better as the year goes on (as everyone becomes more comfortable with all the new systems in place).

This was an excellent thread subject, DolphinDevil28!

5. 1,000 recieving yards for Chris Chambers

6. 17th ranked offense under Scott Linehan

7. 8 wins

1. UNDER: Ronnie Brown rushes for 900 mostly due to the continued struggles of the O-Line (sorry Hudson but you just don't have enough talent there) and shares the load with the other RB's.

2. OVER: AJ Feely throws 18-20 interceptions if he starts the whole year.

3. OVER: Feeley throws about 22 TD passes.

4. UNDER: JT gets about 10 sacks due to stance changes, and scheme changes.

5. OVER: Chambers has 1200+ yards receiving in the new system.

6. OVER: Offense will rank about 15. Right in the middle of the pack. This is mostly due to coaching changes. More talent still needed, especially at O-Line.

7. EVEN: I predict 8 wins too. :)

1. Under-he'll have about 1500 all purpose yards with around 1,000 of those being rushing

2. Under-I think Frerotte will beat him out, so he won't have the opportunity

3. Under-for the same reason

4. Under-I think sack numbers will be a little more spread out with the more aggressive system

5. Over-Linehan will get him some more opportunities

6. Over-Not by much

7. I'll call the line on that one. 8 wins.

3. Under
4. Over
5. Over
6. Over
7. Over

1. Ronnie Brown rushes for 1,300 yards. -- under. we won't pound the ball and i think more carries will be shared.

2. 14 interceptions for AJ Feeley -- over. i think that's a good number of how many he'll throw.

3. 21 touchdown passes for AJ Feeley -- under. we won't get so many scoring opportunities. i don't think he'll be incompetent but i suspect a 19 TD : 16 int ratio. More rushing TDs. besides, frerotte could come in at any time. so, i'm cautious.

4. 12 sacks for Jason Taylor in Saban's aggressive system -- under. more players will get sacks, not just taylor.

5. 1,000 recieving yards for Chris Chambers -- over. finally.

6. 17th ranked offense under Scott Linehan -- under as in 17th or a little better. we may have trouble getting into the endzone at times because of our readjusting OL and QB complications, but the aggressiveness of the offense and our weapons, we'll get some yardage. warm up the leg olindo. :D

7. 8 wins -- even

7. 8 wins

1. Under, Saban is trying to find someone to help take the load off of Brown's shoulders.

2. Under, 12

3. Under, 20 O-line questions make me doubt he can stay healthy for 16 games

4. Under, rotation of DEs will limit Taylor's sack total

5. Over, attacking offense should add more yards to Chambers totals

6. Over, 15th

7. Under, 7 wins. Still need an offensive line, DTs injury history, and aging stars on D, tough schedule on paper

-Over, R.Brown will be the man!

-Over, A.J. will be better, but mistakes will happen.

-Over, A.J. will take more chances, leading to more scores!

-Exactly 12, although there will be more to go around!

-Over, Finally, they'll throw deep to Chambers more than once a month!

-Under, I think we can be in the top half.

-Over, I think 10 is a real possibility. Bills will be down with a "rookie" QB, Jets aren't as good as people think, and heck, we beat the Pats last year, so ....
