Ok your GM what do you do?

Would you rather sign Chad Pennington who is injury prone or spend a ton of money on Drew Brees who had that shoulder inury?

I rather pony up and spend the money on Brees because I believe we are very close to becoming real contenders for the playoffs. I think Brees could not only bring up to the playoffs but get us to the Super Bowl as well.

you obviously need to be cautious with any injured player.......but at this point Brees is head-and-shoulders (pun intended) better than Pennington.

Pennington has yet to finish a season. Bress had a surgery, but its not his second major shoulder surgery in two years like Pennington. Brees is the kind of QB I would love to build an offense around. He is smart, and can lead the team. He can hand the ball off and has a good arm. Not a real deep threat, but can pick apart the D. I hope the Dolphins get Brees

i would sign brees in a sec...if we can get him then we could shift our 1st rd focus and 2nd and 4rd focus picks on s'thing else beside qb...like another ol or db or safety...we cant pass up on bress a 2nd time can we ?

Wouldnt it be sweet to sign Brees and draft Olson. I think Mccown wouldnt help us at all

Why are we even discussing QBs with bad shoulders? The two realistic choices are get Daunte Culpepper if we are to take a chance on an injured QB or sign Josh McCown to compete. In either case, we will draft a youngster. Forget Brees and Pennington, shoulder injuries to throwing arms are very scarey stuff. Just ask Tim Couch. I see both Brees and Pennington as damaged goods. No thanks!
