obviously our running game is gonna be key as well as time of possession,we need to keep the Saints offense on the sideline. In other words pretty much do the same thing we did against the Colts except don't give the big plays and win the game, something we failed to do against the Colts

Shirley you jest. (pardon the pun). It's been less than 24 hours; last night carries at least a 3 day shelf life considering the weeks of abuse, bravado and arrogance we've had to put up with.

Control the clock, run the ball, blitz to disrupt their rythem, and when Brees takes chances throwing into double and triple coverage's make plays on it.

JETS SUCK

time of poss. obviously, keeping our running game on the field. but the biggest thing we need to do is get takeaways. we have to force turnovers. not just this week but from here on out.

Same thing we did against the colts. Control the ball on offense and keep there offense off the field. Also we need to put pressure on brees, the giants only really rushed 4 during there game and sat back in coverage and just got picked apart. The only way to stop brees is to put pressure on him and get up in his face. JT and JP where ya at?

defensively our only chance is consistent pressure on Brees... the Giants weren't getting that and he was able to pick them apart...

our offense will be fine, we'll control the clock, we'll score some points... but we cant turn the ball over and we have to get pressure on Brees...

i think us being at home is a big advantage and I do think we'll get the W...

you can never have enough Jets threads on such a glorious day! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!

Thanks for making this thread. Seriously, I don't care about the Jets right now. I will next week, but right now the only thing on my mind isn't the team who lost to the Bills, it's the team who blew out the Giants.
Obviously we need to run the ball well. If we can hold on to the ball close to 40 minutes, and tackle better than we did against the Colts, then I like our chances.

Just do what we've been doing most of the year on offense and pound the rock. Also with Henne take a few shots downfield. On defense I think they HAVE to play some matchups in this game, we don't have a CB on the roster other than Sean Smith capable of guarding Colston and if Vontae or Will are guarding this guy then he's just going to make them look silly. Colston might make some big catches on Smith as well but at least Smith has the size to make things a little more differicults for him. We SHOULD also see a lot of Culver on Jeremy shockey because lets face it none of our LB's or starting safety's have a prayer at covering that guy. I think Allen and Davis can cover the rest of their WR's and then we just gotta worry about those pesky HB's coming out of the backfield. One other thing they need to do is play Cam Wake!!! Like it or not Wake just might be our best pure pass rusher and they have to get him on the field in passing situations.

Porter is not playing well..We better rush Wake often or Brees is gonna torch us also...

Yea, we need to keep them off the field as much as possible...

We also need to stop the run..Yes stop them running the ball

Make them 1 dimensonial then we can rush the passer

Saints ran the Ball 39 times..and passed only 30 against the Giants

So they ran more than they passed....

We need to be physical with there WRs ....

I would like to see us Blitz early to see how he reacts to it..

Then possible go back to 4 and 5 man rushes...

We def need to limit the big plays make them go the distance....

No TURNOVERS!!!!

1. R&R express looks like the pill and tonic..., they really won't know what hit them - well they will... but stopping it...?

1a. Clock management
1b. Turn Overs must win this battle

2. Pray Brees was satisfied enough with his performance VS. the Giants

3. Tidal Wake...
