Okay, if the game's gonna be on NFL network Sunday at 1

(as I saw in another thread here) can we all email NFL network, and ask them not to post the final score during the game ? I would hate to know the final score before I watch it. That ruins it for me. I recall watching other tape delayed games, and at the bottom, the final score would be posted along with other games current scores. If they would agree not to post the final score, I'd go on a mission to avoid all football talk until Sunday evening.

I noticed that same thing.... I think it was preseason this year, i tivo'd the game and thought id be safe, but your eyes get sucked in.... this sounda kinda stupid, but just put some tape or something over the bottom of the screen so you cant see it....... sounds stupid but hey, it works... :)

I'm going with the tape idea. I did a great job of avoiding all football talk that whole weekend, only to read the outcome on the bottom of the screen.

I know, i got back from a trip, sat down, got my nice cold beer, watched about 10 minutes into the game, saw the ticker and my eyes slid down to the bottom of the screen. I looked away before i saw the score, but i could almost swear i saw Jacksonvilles name highlited. SUCKED!

Yea, i got everything except HDTV.. i got the big screen and all. The cool thing is ive got a DVD capture device on my tivo, so i can put stuff on DVD's.. . Ive got the second half of the Pats Dolpins game last year....
