If my interview with Mack earlier this week on Sirius NFL Radio were an example of how he will perform when interviewed at the Combine, he'll pass with flying colors. He is working out on campus with his college strength coach rather than at a fancy training center because he believes in sticking with what got him to this point. He responded to a question of what he likes about football by saying he enjoyed "smashing the hell out of the noseguard on double teams in the running game". He handled questions about protection adjustments and his practice mindset with equal aplomb. Heck, he even said that he would rather knock a defender down to the ground with a pancake block than go out on a date with one of Cal's co-eds.

Okay, that sounds like a football player with attitude..if he's available at 25th, Stalete you may have some comp.... But is Baltimore's center is available, I may have to go with proven vs projected..

I think he is talking about alex mack from california. He is projected as the best center in the draft.I hope I am wrong but I do not think he will be there at 25.

Sorry about not putting the link, which would have clear this up..but you got it.. Alex Mack is who I'm referring

ALL HAVE ATTITUDES but I think Alex Mack is the real deal

I also would be very happy with this guy at Center. He is 6'5" tall...that's a beast of a Center. Sounds like he is also really intelligent and a good kid. If he is there at #25 I would take him. If not I would go with Nicks, WR, North Carolina.

I don't like white stuff on my sandwiches... :foundout:
Then you should try putting a little Italian dressing on your sandwich. It keeps it from being too dry and adds a little tang and/or zest.

mack is plenty good but i think the draft pool goes about 6 deep at center.i just don't see us drafting center 1st round.
