DA M.I.A IS WHERE I STAY
who do you think,5 years down the road will be ontop of the AFC East?
my opinions are as follows....
New York-(4th place)
lol....IMO,the Jets shot themselves in the foot,as far as the "future" goes for them. They spent most off-season money next to the Raiders(more than $130M).That kind of money is hard to get back in 5 years, especially if your attendance isn't doing well. There QB situation is almost as bad as ours, and yet they continue to unaddress it...heres my thinking,if the Jets don't win AT LEAST 10 games this year of next, look for them to be in the gutter of the East for a long...long time...
New England-(3rd place)
I know what some of you are thinking...."what?!?!"...let me explain.Tom Brady is argueably the best QB in the league, next to Manning.....Peyton,anywho,without the proper talent he might not even be as good as he was when he won the superbowls with those average WR's,because the NE defense was so good, however their older now,and the WR's they have now is basically Moss,Welker and Watson...as I said, their defense is getting older, and they should have been replacing some guys a coupel years ago,but now their at the point where they have the oldest defense in the league...or one of the oldest....which is why I don't think they'll be that good anymore,5 years down the road.
Buffalo-(2 place)
ummm....their just like the Dolphins, only better equiped...however,I just don't see how they can just automatically assume that Edwards is the anwer, and look for him to carry the load...most of his wins were because of Lynch, although he wont get the credit.Bills need help along the linebacknig core, and I think theyll address that, but I just dont see as much potential as the Dolphins has shown, because they didnt build that well in the FA period other than trading for Marcus Stroud.Newly acquired Stroud,McKelvin and Hardy should the only ones I see making an impact within the next 5 years or in recent years, but I could be wrong.
Miami-(1st place)
not trying to be a homer, but the facts dont lie.Miami is or at least one of the most active teams the off-season,getting a younger, faster, stronger D-Line...in FA ALONE...then they carry that along to the draft, and build even more,to sore up the old guys we had and brought in.We made sure our TE spot and the MLB spot were assured when we traded for Fasano and Adoyle for only a 4th rounder...2 starters for a 4th is awesome to encounter for this franchise. We got a possible replacement for JT in Philip Merling, and I feel he can do a pretty damn good job filling in....not saying he can be the next JT,but I will say he will be a good player in the league, for many years to come in my opinion. And O-Line again and got ourselves another QB and a project RB in Parmele, who I believe with the proper coching and opportunity he can be the next Michael Turner.Miami already has the most potential of the division,I just hope we can follow through,we ahve the players and the new personel to make a push for top dogg of the AFC East, its just up the the coaching to bring that out of the player, but I do expect if MIA doesnt make the top the Bills.
