Who exactly is going to eat up yardage on a regular basis? Who will be a bruising, between the tackles RB for our Fins? R & R may not have been perfect and boy have I cursed at the TV on more than one occasion, but between the two of them they managed to get the carries and were not afraid to run it up the gut. I'm just worried with the RB's on the roster at the moment.......am I over-reacting???????

Larry Johnson should provide that trait, even with his decline of late, he is a big physical runner who should balance out Bush if Thomas goes through growing pains his rookie season.

The bigger concern to me right now it the right side of the O-line. It doesn't matter who runs the ball right now that right side sucks.

i believe a mixture of thomas, bush , and johnson can be ok. none of those guys are elite running backs, but the combination of all 3 can give us a solid ground attack.

also, in todays nfl, its a lot more about the passing game, so although its important to have a good back, the pound ground game is a lot less important then it is say back in the day.

if you look at the recent superbowl winners, packers last year, saints the year before, none of those teams had an elite back.

I think the Carolina game showed what they want to do. Bush get yards on the ground and recieving. Thomas comes in to finish it off. About 50 yards each on the ground.

I'm hoping they run off tackle and outside more with a little less 3 yards and a cloud of dust stuff.

It was time to move on. I MAYBE would have kept Ricky.

you cant judge our rbs on the roster yet, bc the poor oline play. but when there have been holes they have made plays. just remember this isnt the same system where we are gonna pound the rock the whole game. we are gonna spread it out more. rb are the least of my worries right now, hell henne isnt ether. ITS THE OLINE

i also think we will be running it outside more too. we know bush is dangerous in open field, but thomas can be too. he doesnt have break away speed, but for a big he has good feet and vision, and makes defenders miss

Lex Hilliard..i really belive he can get it done
maybe a play here and a play there but carry the load no

good point the combo of bush, thomas, and hilliard is good..i dont thing lj mkes the cut

im starting to question if hilliard makes it. they wouldnt have brought lj in if they thought hilliard could be that back

i think he is one of the better special teams players on the team..and i think he makes it on that alone..i think he gets carries and a chance to show what he has this year

honestly i think that is the only way he makes the team. he wont get much time on the field if lj makes the team, and wont see much time at fb bc of clay. fb was the only other way he got on the field last year
