Spurrier "manned up?" Yeah right. I "glanced" at it? Coach, you're to effing busy on the golf course to fill out your own card? Give me a break. Name one other SEC coach who didn't fill out their own card. "Communication error" my ***. "Well, you already had 10 Gators on there." Ok, so drop someone else and put Tim Tebow on there. The QB position is the most prolific position in the game at any level. It is usually the first position you address when you fill out this card. You're telling me his goons adressed the best corners in the conference before addressing the QB position? And even if this is true, the only reason you would list the other positions before addressing the QB position is because that SHOULD BE a no-brainer. I love this Jevan Snead kid. Snead out-played Tebow when Ole Miss beat the Gators last season...FACT. But that's still no reason to slot Snead over Tebow who is easily one of the top three players in all the land.
Obviously, I'm going to slot Eric Berry as the nation's best player.

tebow is the best college QB in the country. you know it, i know, spurrier knows it. this was a personal slight against the gators - which is fine - but don't be a ***** and lie about it. people are jumping all over him b/c this was personal petty crap that spurrier pulled and everybody knows it.
you hate the gators as well. you'd probably leave him off the list b/c of that fact. but would you lie about it or grow a pair? see what i'm saying?

the last thing spurrier wants is UF to have a reason to murder his team when they meet during the season. he probably realized that and came to his senses - probably the reason for the backtracking.

I disagree. I think Colt McCoy or Bradford is the best QB in the country. And if i had to vote for the best QB in the S.E.C. ofcourse i'd vote for Tebow. But does that mean if somebody else thinks another QB will have a better year than him, then their wrong? Get a reality check man
dude, really? fine with the tebow's not the best QB in the country, but you actually think spurrier didn't have his own agenda with the snubbing? do you even know why he didn't end up coaching back at UF after he left washington (apparently not)? do you think he's not mad that the gators have been dominating college football when he's stuck in south carolina? yeah, i'm the one who needs a reality check. :rolleyes2: nice try olive oil.

Tell me, when did I wake up in Communist Russia? Someone can't vote for anyone they want anymore? This is a sad story. I mean I would understand the hysteria if Spurrier chose Casey Dick over Tebow, but instead he chose Snead, who many believe could be the 4th best QB in the nation, which is saying something.
Now before all the Tebow lovers bash me, yes I would have voted for Tebow as well, but as BlutoPhin pointed out, who's to say Snead wont be better than Tebow this year? Wow, ESPN really had a field week with this witch hunt conspiracy. Even Tebow said it dosent matter, it's a DAMN PRE-SEASON POLL!!!! Which is the equivalent to a recruit saying "so and so" University was my 2nd choice....It means nothing.
It's a sad day when the best quote I hear out of this whole mess comes from Nick Saban, he said something to the effect that "It's a shame we are criticized to this point for voting for who we want, alot of people in this country have fought for those rights for years."
Bottom line: Tebow = best QB in SEC no doubt....this story = ghey
