I have not yet re-watched the OL but here's what PFF saw.

Albert- Pass +2.1, run -1.2

Collede- Pass +.5, run -1.7

Satele- Pass -1.1, run 0.7

Pouncey- Pass -0.5, run -0.2

James- Pass -0.8, run -0.2

The OL gave up 1 sack, 2 hits, and 3 hurries. There were 2 more hits and 4 more hurries on the team on unblocked defenders.

Landry was the only one on O with a good grade of +1.4. RT had a bad grade of -2.8 in passing.

On D, OV +3.7 and Wake +2.4 overall played very well and Jenkins +1.3 a Misi +1.4 had good games.

I think Pouncey needs to go back to C, Satele got blown back on all 3 runs at the goal line and I just didn't feel or see much impact with Pouncey at RG. Maybe they can try a switch because Satele has played well enough to keep playing, but IMO Pouncey is just too good to not be playing C where he excels.

Just from watching the game live, the OL was bad on run blocking. I think we had 8 runs for ONE yard in the first half. That had to put a damper on the game plan vs one of the worst run stop teams in the league. I do remember GB bringing more than we could block on some plays, especially in the red zone.

No idea what that means.

Who was wrestling with Julius Peppers the most? Wasn't it James?

Finnegen was really bad, and we decided to keep Grimes on Nelson all game which also did not work out. So, he was playing the #2 and 3 WR's. I have to give Taylor and/or Davis a shot to play. Do not believe they can be worse.

Maybe Taylor but Davis is not ready yet. The problem is that we don't have a shutdown or elite CB. Grimes made the pro-bowl but he is nowhere near a top 5 CB in this league.

Grimes is VG, plays his heart out but, as you say is not elite, and not playing as well as last year. Finnegen is not doing much of anything, and is becoming a liability. Da Bears are not going to make things any easier for either one. I give Taylor, who I expected to start a shot.

Grimes has had one below par game and we already calling him out.

We have good individuals but the Philhin is what he is, a good no.2 but nowhere near good enough to be a HC

Not true. He struggled vs the Pats, missed 5 tackles vs KC, and yesterday. I would still not say that he has been bad but, just average, I expected more.

Here's their ReFo article on Dolphins:

Miami Dolphins –Performances of Note

Olivier Vernon, DE: +3.7

Breakdown: Proving too much for David Bakhtiari to handle, Vernon put up excellent pass rushing numbers (two sacks, two hits and a hurry) while remaining stout in the running game. The under-rated defensive end tied the team lead with four stops, earning his third green grade this season.

Signature Plays: On the Packers’ final drive, Vernon was a monster, recording a pressure, a hit, and a strip-sack on three consecutive plays following the two-minute warning.

Ryan Tannehill, QB: -2.8 passing

Breakdown: It would be foolish to discredit Tannehill’s rushing ability, but throwing the ball is the quarterback’s number one priority, and against Green Bay, Tannehill did not impress. Both of his interceptions came from ill-advised passes to covered receivers, and the third-year signal caller was spared two more thanks to the stone hands of Davon House and poor spatial awareness of Brad Jones. He made his share of impressive throws (including a beautiful lob under pressure for his first touchdown to Jarvis Landry), but in the end they were drowned out by a litany of risky passes.

Signature Stat: Tannehill went 1-of-7 for 25 yards and two picks on passes beyond 10 yards and outside the numbers.

Cortland Finnegan, CB: -3.2 coverage

Breakdown: Opting to leave Brent Grimes on Jordy Nelson for most of the game, Finnegan was left to cover the Packers’ second and third options, and since he lined up primarily outside, that meant a healthy dose of Davante Adams. All five catches allowed by the veteran corner were caught by Adams, and he could never seem to bring the rookie to the ground quickly, as 45 of the 70 receiving yards he surrendered came after the catch.

YOU Should ,IMO IF you get paid elete CB money you need to play like an elete CB ,it wouldnt be as bad if he was making avg money ,but the money he makes Grimes needs to bring his A Game EVERY Game period

Grimes has not been close to his play of last year. Hopefully, that will change.
