How long did the 1st team OL play last night and how did they look?

Was it the same line up as the last game?

Well, I haven't seen any threads saying "we have the worst o-line in the league.. these guys aren't worth crap". That's gotta be a good sign.

They looked better than last year but not as good as last week when we played against the Bucs. Too many Pentalties that is a major problem i hope Saban rips him a new one because the O-line had way to many penatieis and it put us on 3rd and long most of the time.

Our starting line played ok but we will have to pray for no ol injuries this year.

We've been pretty in pass protection all preseason. Our 3.4 ypc needs some work, though Ricky & Ronnie were both better than 4.0.

I TiVO'd the game and specifically rewound plays to see how our 1st team line did. They actually weren't too bad. I especially thought both McIntosh and Carey played very well for the very brief time they were in.

I thought Gussy was sack once...Do any of you know who got beat on that sack?

Oh, man. I don't remember and I just deleted the recording. I think it was an interior lineman. I know I saw Jeno James get blown up at least once. It may have been that play. Anyone else remember?

Yeah, it was Jeno. He's really not much of an athlete when you watch him play after play. This time he was beaten cleanly to the inside for a quick sack. And it was a rookie, no less. Jonathan Babineaux of Iowa, Matt Roth's teammate. If I remember correctly, he was picked maybe a dozen selections after we took Roth.
