are much different than I thought at the start of the season.

Offensive needs (primary):
1. QB
2. #1 type WR (CC is not it but a good #2)

Defensive needs (comes next in line after QB b/c of age & health)

1. An outside and inside LB
2. DT (even if one steps up next yr)
3. DE
4. CB (this could be #1 Defensive need if Poole and the other cb do not heal well)

After the above... LT, C, another CB b/c you can never have enough, big blocking TE

We can live another season with our safeties.
 
I really think we will draft a QB in the first, then the rest of the draft will be defense.

I wouldn't take Edwards over Brown either. Brown is awesome and getting better.
 
get Joey Harrington for cheap. Draft a good OL in the 1st if available, if not draft VA CB.

Get Terrel Owens!!!!!!!!!!!! no matter what!

draft Jacobs or Mcneal in the 2nd or 3rd round
 
After QB, I would move up the CB spot because with what I've seen from madison, daniels and reggie howard (jeez, I hope we don't keep him), we need a great young corner to help out the non-existent secondary. Then after that a DT because they are getting older like the rest of the D. Any linebackers are pretty much good until the late 4th round so you can address that issue later in the draft. this is just what i see though

Not sure about Harrington although he could pull a Breese and be good. I always believe in drafting the best player available in drafts. I started this thread purely on "most needed positions to win next yr"
 
We should draft Mathius Kiwunka from Boston College, he is a tenacious pass rusher and get Cutler in the 2nd round the man has a rocket for an arm.
 
Ogunleye got 3 sacks today. Oops. This really is a bad day.
 
if we can address the off line through FA, we hsould go ALL defense except QB and MAYBE JUST MAYBE WR in teh draft unless we can find a WR in FA.
 
Rex Grossman if he could stay healthy if a pretty good QB.

I think we need a change of offensive systems. The throw it downfield offense hasn't worked for us at all.

It's time we run a west coast offense if you ask me. We have what it takes, in two good RBs, a decent WR/TE core, and a decent OL.
 
QB is priority 1 & CB should be priority 2. A better QB can make our receivers better. And a CB that can actually cover someone opposite of Madison is a must. We've been getting killed on the left side of the defense all year.
 
i hate to say it baut at least when we had Fiedler he won games. he may of had a few bad days but he won most of them when he was here.
i don't want a qb like harrington look at who he is throwing to now and what he has for a RB and what we have.
He won't do any better. i say we try and get culpepper here i beleave he expressed interested as he played college ball in florida. but no one else i can think of right now that would do better. we def need o-line they are playing better but still .. a wr who will go up and get it.Chambers is good but doesn't seem to do enough.. i could go on but don't want to.
