On a positive note, I thought the OL played pretty well.

On a negative note, it was against a fair at best DL.

Did anything change?

I think we will get better and better as the preseason goes on. Once we get Albert back I think we might be ok. We know we are fine with Albert, Dallas, Pouncey and James. The only real question mark is Turner at RG. I would like to see them move Douglas over to RG and see how that works out. Turner is not a OG and I don't think he ever will be. I said coming out that he was a OT not a OG.

Probably not enough of a sample size to judge. They'll have to wait until after the 3rd PS game to have a fair assessment I'd think.

As of right now... it's all good....

Needs help. The Bears defense is in transition to a 3-4 and has limited talent. RT overcame two holding calls on that TD drive.

I think they at least need one guard and the depth is not good.

Lots of issues.

From what I saw (no tape) I'm staying with the 3-headed young OG's. FWIW, Dallas is improved, as those from the team have said, not great but, I could see at least average this year.

I think going up against our DL has really helped them out alot.

If Dallas knocked the guy he was blocking on his ass every snap, some would say they tripped on their own feet. lol

I'm not trying to take away from his good performance tonight, by all means I'm rooting for him to be a quality starter, but saying we're fine with him after 1.5 drives against a bad d line does not warrant that

This. This. This.

If you're gonna dismiss Thomas improving just because he held his own against a bad player, just keep in mind that he used to be that player for the other team.

Agreed. My reply was in general and I should have skipped the quote.

They created some REAL good rushing lanes for Miller and Williams, I know everyone is all on the pass protect but you got to give them that
