I see only 2 sacks by Atlanta's backup DEs.. So was the starting OL positive in the pass protection at least? I saw some highlights and our QBs had some real nice pockets to throw from

Do you know specifically? Was it Pouncey or Carey- Cause that would suck? .. Or was it Murtha?

It was kind of everyone to be honest. They did pretty bad more as a unit, not really just one giving blocks up (I wasn't really paying attention to specific people on the OL though). I mean.. it should get better in a few weeks though. Our OL hasn't been practicing for long and everyone's moved everywhere, and they were facing tons of blitzes.

Still.. wasn't pretty. Henne had to scramble a couple times and Moore was running for his life on most of the plays.

I thought the pass protection was decent. Not All-world, but good enough to stand in and throw from.

You cant expect to get 10 seconds on every play. Henne had time tonight. When it comes to the passing game, he had time. Now I am not getting into who's fault it was for this or that. But IMHO, he had time to throw.

Hmm I watched some highlights again and they weren't as bad as I'm making them out to be.. I'd say atrocious would be the Steelers' O-Line. They weren't great as our QB's were on the run/getting hit quite a bit but not god awful.

Oh ok thanks! Atrocious was the 49ers OL tonight.. Kaepernick got sacked 3 times... in a row! alex smith almost got killed too. that was a disaster to watch

We had a number of break downs, resulting in the QB's running for their lives (which Moore did really well and Henne did to a lesser extent), but there were a couple plays where they did really give the QB's time to look downfield.

This line all comes down to how well Chad Henne plays this year.
